All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

Trusting God is a decision that I have to make daily

Today I choose to trust God with my family that He will help them come to understand The love of God revealed in Christ Jesus. Today I choose to trust God to meet all of my needs, physically, spiritually, financially, and emotionally.
I will praise the Lord even when I do not understand or feel deserted.
Yet I will praise you
object width="425" height="355">
I will praise you, Lord my God
Even in my brokeness
I will praise you Lord
I will praise you, Lord my God
Even in my desperation
I will praise you Lord

And I can´t understand
All that you allow
I just can´t see the reason
but my life is in your hands
and through I cannot see you
I choose to trust you

Even when my hearts is torn
I will trust you Lord
Even when I feel deserted
I will trust you Lord

Even in the darkest valley
I will trust you Lord
and when it seems all hope is gone
yet I will praise you Lord

I will trust you Lord my God
Even in my loneliness
I will trust you Lord

And I will not forget
that you hung on a cross
Lord you bled and died for me
and if I have to suffer
I know that you´ve been there
and I know that you´re here now

Well here I am back home after spending a week with Dean my brother-in-law. It feels good to be home. I have been dealing with a lot of issues today related to loss and greif issues. I know the lord desires us to comfort others with the comfort I myself have received. I have been also watching on line what could turn out to be a mighty revival that has once again sprung up in Florida, in Lakeland. I told a a friend yesterday that I was not convinced it was a true move of God or not. The fruit will speak for itself if this is from God. I will keep following it and pray that if it is From God then the fruit will begin to come forth. It use to be so easy for me to get all hyped up about things like this. I am so much more cautious now. I know Satan can counterfeit everything God does and will do it to hurt God’s people. I have seen it over and over. I at the same time hope with all my heart that it is a revival that will shake the Earth.
Father, this stuff happening in Florida makes me so hungry for revival, Father send revival, manifest your glory, touch the Earth with renewal, harvest souls and help us to live in the fear of the Lord and help us not to dishonor your precious name Jesus, Touch my life with revival fire and ignite a holy flame so I can do your will. In the name of Jesus I pray amen.

THE MIDNIGHT CRY
Comment by Pastor Bob B on April 28, 2008 at 6:31am
Here I am as I said to a friend this morning I kind of feel like the song My Anchor Holds. MY ship is battered, my sails might be torn, but my anchor hold secure. Amazing Grace, His grace flows down and covers me. I love the Lord more than anything and deturmine to finish my race well that I have been given. The crowning point is a song called The Midnight Cry.

Well I have made it through half of my weekend and am in Maine, I am really tired and relieved that everything id done with my mother. The service was wonderful and my Pastor preached a clear message of salvation. I was able toget through my part of speaking and my pastor sang I can only Imagine, There is a very Godly family who ministered at my moms nursing home for 15 years that my mom loved who played thre violins and gitar rendition of Amazing Grace. The reception was wonderful and many people from my church organized it for me. I love the body of Christ so much and am so glad to be a member.

My brother-in-law called while I was on my way to church this morning and told me my sister-law his wife had taken a turn for the worse and has been put into intensive care.
She needs a miracle if she is to survive, she is only 51. Saturday is my mom's memorial service and I am kind of overwhelmed by it all. She is not only my sister-in-law, but my very close friend in the Lord. She has spent many years with physical problems, but has always been completely devoted to Christ. I really hope God will allow her to stay. I trust in His wisdom if she is received into glory. I have many friends and family who are there all ready.
My brother-law just called me and told me she will not make it, so now I have to find Go's grace again to get through it.

For today I choose to trust God with all my needs, spiritually physically, and emotionally.
I know that the Lord is a faithful Lord. I can not always understand what he is doing, but I am learning to trust Him. Trust has not been easy for me because most of my life I have lived with or around a lot of people who are not trust worthy. It has taken a lot of years for God to convince me that he is not like humanity in that He is truly trustworthy. I am learning also that even if in my heart I feel a bit apprehensive about trusting that God understands and is not angry that I have a hard time trusting.

Thus says the Lord: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man
and makes flesh his strength, whose heart turns away from the Lord.
He is like a shrub in the desert, and shall not see any good come.
He shall dwell in the parched places of the wilderness, in an uninhabited salt land.
“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord.
He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream,
and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.”

Hi Bob, I too praise our glorious God...It was truly awesome to pray with Carla and have the amazing experience of her being set free to live for Christ. You have no idea how much it blesses my heart to hear such wonderful feedback about my daughter, Carla. May we continue to look to Him for the old reliable paths, the way that leads to bessings. (Jer. 6:16). Thanks for all that you do to encourage new believers. I appreciate your recommendations, and will keep them in mind as people come across my path. God's riches blessings to you today. Just like God provided the sacrifice and he revealed himself as Jehovah JirahThe God who provides, so each day I am seeing my Lord provide for me all that I need so I can be obedient to Him. God provided so Abriham could obey God's command and make a sacrifice. I am amazed to think that God's commandment are linked together with His provision.
