To Truly Pray

What makes prayer effective?

Is it beautiful words? Setting a mood?

Is it a detailed prayer list? Aloneness?

Perhaps it is gathering with like-minded brethren?

Is it fasting? Self-denial?

I'm so thankful for a forgiving God ,if He wasn't , I would be in a lot of trouble. Look how King Darius addressed Daniel. He called him - "servant of the living God."

What he was doing here was contrasting Daniel's God with the lifeless idols of the Medes and Persians.
