Shalom, brothers~ podcast:
“I am amazed that you have so quickly deserted him who called you by the grace of Christ, and that you have so soon gone over to a different gospel, a gospel which in point of fact is no gospel at all. What has really happened is that certain men are upsetting your whole faith and are aiming at reversing the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven were to preach the gospel to you, other than that which you have received, let him be…

What makes prayer effective?
Is it beautiful words? Setting a mood?
Is it a detailed prayer list? Aloneness?
Perhaps it is gathering with like-minded brethren?
Is it fasting? Self-denial?
Those things are, in fact, side issues. Effective prayer comes when one knows God well, aligns his will with God’s and then puts himself at God’s disposal.
God delights in the heart that seeks Him, not only above all else, but, instead of all…

3 individuals in the Bible failed to make a clean break with the world - "Egypt" - and resultantly, met with total destruction. Those individuals were Lot's wife, Ananias, and his wife Sapphira.
In this third and final part of his message entitled - "3 SAYINGS OF PHARAOH" - my son John stresses the necessity of making a clean break with "Egypt" - the world. If not, you will eventually find yourself going back there to pick up what you left behind.
When the devil says as…

I Pray to?
“For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, To the unknown God. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you.”
There are many gods in this world today.
Many say we, as Christians, persecute those that refuse to live as Christ lived, but this isn't so.
We, as followers of Christ, are set in motion by a commission from the true God, the God of Abraham, Issac and…

“Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;”
Charge; To lay on, give or communicate, as an order, command or earnest request; to enjoin; to exhort.
An order, injunction, mandate, command.
We have seen in this last 100 years that the rich get richer and the poor suffer. The rich have taken to heart their ability to get gain from…

The Fire and The Shadow.
Many people are walking threw this life not finding pleasure nor an open door of compassion. Many are looking for something that will take away the pain of living. We all, at one time or another have been in this state, but we have found a release from this life of misery and pain, we have found a direction and an open door.
The Fire;
Trouble; affliction.
To set on fire, to kindle; to inflame; to excite…

“Delayed Punishment.”
Vanity of the sinner.
“For he knoweth not that which shall be: for who can tell him when it shall be?
There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in the day of death: and there is no discharge in that war; neither shall wickedness deliver those that are given to it.”
Death comes to all the wicked and the righteous. As we look threw Ecclesiastes we see that this date of our demise is…

Hi, It's been a while since I've been on here. I've asked
for prayer about my marriage. Please, if it's on your heart to
do so today, say a prayer that our marriage will become strong
and healthy. I've been tempted with an old lifestyle lately- one of
anorexia. I know that the devil is trying to make this look appealing
to me again. This temptation has come and gone, and I've given into it off and on, throughout the years since I was about 12 years old. My mom puts a…

RECENT VIRGINIA CHURCH SERVICE
I would love to give the Pastor of this predominantly black church in Virginia a hug and a high five. This guy is obviously a leader and not one of the sheep. Perhaps we should each decide who our real leader is. It is amazing to see that very little has changed in 4,000 years.

Welcome to Galatians. . .
. . .a small book of just six chapters written by the apostle Paul. If you were along as we explored the book of Acts, you remember that Jesus stepped into Paul’s pathway—Paul, a proper Jew, full of scholarly self-righteousness, who had mercilessly persecuted the new Christians—and Paul was radically converted to a Jesus-follower. After a time, he set out on three journeys where he preached the good news of Jesus Christ, and saw many people—Jews and Gentiles…

"...O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, Whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions?" - Daniel 6:20
Look how King Darius addressed Daniel. He called him - "servant of the living God."
What he was doing here was contrasting Daniel's God with the lifeless idols of the Medes and Persians.
Indeed, his God was "a living God" - One Who has life... imparts life... and is able to preserve life. When placed into a life - or - death…

'Tis the story of Paul's voyage(s) en route to Rome. . . What could be Luke's purpose in writing in such detail about Paul's tumultuous journey?
Have you been in a storm lately? Probably not if you live in Southern California--we have earthquakes and fires. . . but you could have been where storms whip themselves up into tornadoes. . . storms caused by…
