No Adulteration . . . in Jesus. Colossians 1.15-23
Good Morning!
Pray with me: O God, and author of Scripture, this part of Paul’s letter that we have been studying is packed…

The thought of triplets weighed heavy on my mind. All I could think about was the odd one out. The thought of twins was something that seemed easier. Mommy, daddy, baby, baby. Playing musical chairs with three of them seemed like a lot of work for someone that lacks in multi-tasking skills.
After a while I figured I'll just make the best of the situation.
Now Lynn was doing what all good mothers do. She was buying books, following a diet plan, buying all the furniture, etc.,…

Deliver us, your people, from lust, perversion, pornography, and all other sexual sins. Let us hide your Word in our hearts so that we will not sin against You. Cleanse our nation of its sexual perversions and deliver our young people from the devil's temptations. Heal those that have repented, not only emotionally, but also of any sexual disease they may have contracted before they found You. Give us pure thoughts and deliver us from the evil of our day.…

Dear Father, I come to you today in Jesus' name and I really desire to have your wisdom and knowledge. I honestly want to walk in such a way that I can be kind to those who speak against me, and I truly want to seek their good. I know that without the Holy Spirit I cannot do this, so fill me with your Spirit today. Let me be kind and loving; and change my heart from being defensive and argumentative, to being loving and kind. Help me speak the truth in love,…

Lord, we also ask you to forgive our national sins of racism, abortion, strife, hatred, pornography, adultery, lust, idolatry and our many other sins. Be merciful to us. We realize we deserve judgement in our land for these sins. However, we are asking that you send a revival among us so that we might turn from our wickedness and our land be spared. Help me to do my part in changing this nation. Although my life may only represent one drop of rain, there are…

So, it was time to make a baby. After the first month of no success we just thought, "be patient, these things take time. We are a little up there in age so that may be the factor." But after 6 months we started exploring alternatives. We visited a fertility clinic and he gave us the best course of action to take. Going this route the chances of multiples increases. So I thought having twins would be kind of cool.
So finally the day came. My wife was pregnant. I did the best I could…

Finding the Finish Line
Every life is like a marathon. There is a beginning and an end with markers along the way. A good marathon runner will not begin the race looking 41.3 kilometers down the road. He will strive to successfully make it to the first marker and then the next until the race is completed. His race is a bunch of shorter races. When each goal has been achieved he…

The year was 2000. I was living the high life (or so I thought) I was single, had a good job, my own house, and I was just enjoying this spontaneous lifestyle that I created for myself. Nobody to worry about but myself.
Then Lynn walked into my life. She was different than all the other girls that I dated in the past. Life was too easy before she came around. She was able to get me off my so called high horse. She was exactely what I needed.
So, we had a courtship that had a…

Dear Father, I am grateful that you have left us the Bible with all of its wisdom and knowledge so that we do not get lost in this life or overwhelmed by the problems that we face. I do thank you that for every problem we face, You will help me find the answer and overcome in the situation. Help me not only be able to overcome my problems, but also Lord, help me to maintain the proper heart attitude as I work on the situations in my life that need changing.…
