Praise God! The Holy Spirit has taken the blinders off of my eyes.
Prayer is the most power weapon we've got [other than the Bible]. For it doesn't matter how much we talk to a person, he/she will be blinded unless God opens up their eyes. That's why arguing is useless and why it's better to just let God take care of it. It truely is all up to Him.
I just couldn't understand why I've had a hard time understanding the Bible. I now know. I've been trying to learn…

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank you for Your love and watch care over us. Lord, today I pray for all the families and churches that have suffered with division and broken relationships. Lord, forgive the selfishness of those who are in rebellion and have refused to maintain fellowship. Give all of those who have been wounded by rebellious children, the grace to forgive, and to continue to pray, to love and to reach out. Lord, also heal those who are hurting because of church splits. Lord,…

“Come by yourselves to an out-of-the-way place and rest a little.” Mk.6:31
Reflection:
Our inner life needs the best; it needs solitude. Indeed, the soul needs times of silence that it may not be overcome by dissipation. In this way it can be recollected in God and be prepared for all the tasks and struggles that lie ahead.
During this time of meditation we communicate with God and learn what He expects of us. Do I regularly seek this…

Reading and understanding the Bible can be a challenge. Often, we're not sure how its writings from 2,000 years ago apply to us today. This article provides a helpful primer for how to read the Bible for all it's worth. A practical three-step process for proper biblical interpretation: 1) What did it mean then? 2) What is the timeless truth taught? 3) How does it apply to us today?

“For here we have no lasting city; we are seeking one which is to come.” Heb.13:14
Reflection:
Faith in eternity does not seek to escape from the world, but rather to conquer it. Let’s not proclaim ourselves as incompetent but as sacred. Let’s attend to our daily tasks with courage and joy, always carrying our eternal goal in our hearts so that we may not be lacking in perseverance.
This should be our daily task. Do I measure up to…

I don't go to the church anymore [no one takes me]. But, I remember one time, before the service, they played gangum style on the screen. It creeped me out. It was probably back in like Oct., it was the first time I seen ganyum style. Alot of people actually liked it...I remember one time one of the singers did the Satanic salute.
I was so ashamed to admit it but now I can. God has forgiven me. The Bible is right, the truth does set you free. The Holy Spirit has lead me to this point…

Dear Heavenly Father, Our greatest wealth is having Your blessings. You give us so many things that the world does not have. As Your children, we are promised peace in the storm, provision when we have nothing, love for those who persecute us, joy in the face of grief, forgiveness for our sins and so many more promises. Today, I am grateful for all of Your blessings. Help me to be a blessing to those around me. Give me Your compassion for those who persecute me. Lord, help me remain…

“And the world with its seductions is passing away, but the man who does God’s will endures forever.” 1Jn.2:17
Reflection:
I am also part of the world, subject to its temporal law. But God’s love has called me to eternity. I live, to be renewed; I die, to live forever.
It depends upon my faithful fulfillment of God’s will whether my life will be one of everlasting joy. Am I faithfully fulfilling His will?
Prayer:
“Heavenly…

“Everyone who grows angry with his brother shall be liable to judgment.” Mt.5:22
Reflection:
A wicked thought destroys the foundation of human society and uproots mutual trust and love.
Hence, Christ demands a perfect and fraternal kindness that will not tolerate even a bad thought about one’s neighbor, for external courtesy and politeness are not enough. What is my attitude toward my neighbor?
Prayer:
“God of love, grant…
