The most extraordinary thing is how bad I desire to believe, its so strong that it feels like a dam that is ready to crumble and overwhelm my heart and soul.I've felt this way for so long, so constipated, its to the point of pain, physical pain. For every answer I may recieve from above,I seem to have 2 more questions. I NEED that break-through,NEED IT,like I need to breathe and I don't know how to get it. I know theres a piece of me,of my soul, that I have yet to discover.

Time is the price you must pay for intimacy with God.
One of the most valuable things that a person could possibly have is an intimate relationship with God. That same God who is big enough and powerful enough to create the whole universe is also small enough and caring enough to desire a personal relationship with you--a relationship that will last for eternity.
Of course, such an intimate friendship won't happen by chance. Your relationship with your best friend didn't come…

There has been much back and forth in the media about Barack Obama and his plans for America's future. It might be comical if not for the fact that much of what is posted in defense of these plans is lacking in reason. The assumption is that if you are not supportive of Obama (or the Democrat agenda), you must be Republican. This makes as much sense as assuming that if something is not black, it must be white. This misrepresentation of fact is the practice of mind manipulation in its highest…

1 I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
2 My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
3 O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.
4 I sought the LORD, and he…

I came here this morning to write this blog and to my surprise I read one posted just before this one that pretty much described what this one is about.
At first I was thinking how unfortunate to come across this sin that the Word of God speaks about below even amongst the Body of Christ but after much prayer and time spent with Our Lord in the quiet place I have come to realize as a blog just…

Testimony
I will give you a short synopsis of my life in order to bring Glory and Praise to my King and Lord.
My life has been a difficult one, born into a family full of challenges. My father was a heavy alcoholic until his early 70’s; he stopped drinking only because his body could not take it anymore. He was kicking me even from the time I was in my mother’s womb. In his intoxicated state he would become extremely jealous and conjure up thoughts of my mother…

We live in a world where we fail one another and even those folks who swore never to leave us nor forsake us, no matter what comes our way, either by our own wrong choices or by God allowing the trial to come our way ---- DO LEAVE AND FORSAKE US.
I find no better truth, no sweeter thought -- no better reality --- nothing compares to the unfailing love of the Lord.
In a world full of uncertainties and storms you can always count on one entity no matter what!!!!
YOU CAN…

ATTITUDE
by: Charles SwindollThe longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life.
Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important…

Understand that I'm not a religious person and at times my faith or belief in God truly waivers. The older I get, the more race and the subject of it concerns me. I have a daughter that will sooner or later face blatant racism. That is not what bothers me. It's the under-handed, closeted, "I have black friends" type of racism that will hurt most.
With that said, I'm researching for my own blog as well as my thesis, both focusing on race and religion and how one affects the other. This…
