I was shocked, confused, bewildered As I entered Heaven's door, Not by the beauty of it all, Nor the lights or its decor. But it was the folks in Heaven Who made me sputter and gasp-- The thieves, the liars, the sinners, The alcoholics and the trash. There stood the kid from seventh grade Who swiped my lunch money twice. Next to him was my old neighbor Who never said anything nice. Bob, who I always thought Was rotting away in hell, Was sitting pretty on cloud nine, Looking incredibly well. I…

Separation of Church and State. It’s an expression often used in the press. This phrase is trotted out each time some atheistic theophobe complains that a Christian prays in a publicly owned place or a nativity scene is placed in front of a fire house.

Why study the Bible? This is a question that a lot of people have asked; and I think it’s safe to say that they’re asking this question because they just simply don’t see the value in reading it. Of course, this is why it is often left on the shelf to collect dust. And as a result of not reading the Bible many people miss out on something wonderful…
You see, Bible study isn’t merely an activity to be carried out at…

With this series, we are now going to move outward... from the inner-most expression of Gods' love, into the other subsequent expressions of this "same" agape love we've been studying. For those of you whom have studied this subject of love with me since the beginning, I can't express how much I appreciate you so much. Your prayers and encouragement have inspired me to treat the Word of God with great respect and careful examination. I think, it is because of you,… Continue

When we are experiencing great pain, there are strong medicines available.. But if there are no significant persons around us, that pain will be the greatest experience. We find relief when we are surrounded by family and friends. Now I understand why Jesus did not complain during His Holy Passion because He knows that He's not alone. He is surrounded by people who loves Him. He may take the pain ALONE but pain is shared with those who love Him.… Continue

Quite a while back, someone asked me what my thoughts were on the meaning of the word "meek". There are many who are under the misconception that it means "to make a doormat of oneself" or to allow oneself to be dominated. Huh!! It is a word that in some human minds has taken on a meaning that is quite distorted. We cannot even take a stand for our Lord if those meanings were true. To me ,meekness just means applying self control when we stand in an assertive yet gentle manner in our beliefs…

Micheal & Dana Johnson is a loving couple residing in the state of Va. USA
They lost their eldest son. Grieving has took on a whole new meaning with
these parents. It is their belief that his spirit is roaming their home, to the
point of moving items. They are very angry toward God, and so tormented.
Please, Please remember this family in prayer. They are desperate for a
touch from God.
Thank you, and May God Bless you each

Why should we study the Bible?
He must become greater; I must become less (John 3:30)
Do you realize that if you are a Christian, and have read the entire Bible, you are in the minority? Does this scare you? Well, it should! If you study the Bible yourself, you are in an even greater minority that even most pastors do not fall into! Yet, all of them would have an opinion of the Bible, teach, and make decisions based on their understanding of the Bible. If you were not scared…

1He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. while reading this tonight God really gave me an understing of His love and grace. He was showing me. He wants me to think on this verse as kind of God hiding us under his wing. Like an eagles wing nestling her babies from the storms of life until one day they are able to bare up the storms of life by flying into the wind so their wings can spread to its full…

I love discussing theology with people. When discussing Christianity with people from other denominations there has to be some place to begin, some starting point, where we can agree. That starting point is this: "Who do you say Jesus is?"
I can talk with Baptists, Methodists, Assembly of God because those denominations believe the same thing about Jesus. We may disagree about other doctrinal issues. But there is agreement about who Jesus is.
When I talk with people who…
