I am still a youth and I am proud of that. I would like to remind all my fellow youth and all those who know that they are still young that we are the church of tomorrow and therefore, let us avoid laziness. As the saying goes: "Sitting and wishing not make a man". It is through you that our society will develop and that our church will spread its fragrance throughout the world. Some students have the habit of studying at the last moment before the examinations while they…

If you believe, you will recieve whatever you ask for in prayer. Matthew 21:22
How true this is. In my last post I was mentioning problems that I was and still am having in my life. Well besides my living status that I am still having problem with I was also dealing with my mother. To fill you in on her she is the kind of woman who needed others to watch over her. After my father passed away, and I was living on my own there was my Grandparents…

When I was a kid, we made an annual trip to Clear Lake (California)—honestly, all my best memories from childhood go back to
that lake. It wasn’t just the waterskiing with my family,
though I LOVED that, it was all the other stuff like fishing, clamming,
jumping off the pier, and trying to get so many people on the dock that
we would sink it. I also remember the lizards. My cousins…

God grant me the serenity, to accept the things I cannot change. Courage to change the things I can and wisdom to know the difference. Living one day at a time, enjoying one moment at a time, accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; taking as He did, this sinful world, as it is and not as I would have it; trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His will. That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him, forever in the next. AMEN!!
Trust…

FROM THE BOOK "MY UTMOST TO HIS HIGHEST" BY OSWALD CHAMBERS
Agree with your adversary quickly . . . —Matthew 5:25
In this verse, Jesus Christ laid down a very important principle by saying, “Do what you know you must do— now. Do it quickly. If you don’t, an inevitable process will begin to work ’till you have paid the last penny’ ( Matthew 5:26 ) in pain, agony, and distress.” God’s laws are unchangeable and there is no escape from them. The teachings of Jesus always…

Imagine, God can see and hear all of us! Every single soul on the earth is within His view. He knows each and every suffering of every soul, every tear, every smile, every kindness shown. Nothing escapes Him! No prayer unheeded, no action unseen and no words unheard by Him, our Almighty God. Our “all knowing” ever merciful Father, will one day wipe away every tear from our eyes. Imagine this life that seems at times so long to us but so fleeting in reality, compared to eternity. He comes to…

When she moved here she had to give up her job and she has a 3 year old daughter; My niece. Chapter 14 INTRODUCTION:
Paul is looking at the relationships believers are to have with others. In Chapter 12 he told us to accept the differences we have even as these extend to the different function of spiritual gifts. Then he explained how we are to love one another with a non-hypocritical spiritual love. In Chapter 13 he showed how this love even submits to proper authority. That too is an expression of our Spiritual love. At the end of…

The Lord gave me this passage of scripture & I looked it up in different translations. I use mostly KJV but this one separated the passages & says what they are about. He told me we don't have to be overcome by things in our lives and shouldn't be as believers. We are to be an overcomer! Amen? His Word is full of… Continue

Dear Ones,
This passage of scripture was the text of the very first message (sermon) I spoke about or from, It was given when I was asked by our Sectional A/G Youth Leader at our monthly sectional service to speak at the last minute.
That night the ones graduating high school that year (1962) from the cities… Continue

As I observed around me yesterday God was showing me very much so, the ways of this world. Actually, in the past few weeks I have been seeing more and more, the lies of this world, the greed and many who suffer at the hands of wickedness. The Bible says we do not belong here and that we are aliens to this world and lately that has never been more evident. Today I have never been happier to be an alien! Verse 3 of this Psalm pretty much sums up my day yesterday “I will set no wicked thing before…

This morning when I awoke, in all honesty, I did not feel up to writing a devotional today. The thought of the obstacles I have been facing just made me feel a bit lax and lazy. I sat here and this word came to mind, “discipline.” Then two minutes after my thoughts were “serve the God who loves me and will surely dissolve the obstacles in my path because it is He who has made me.” Then two minutes afterward these words “Be still and know that I am God.” I went to today’s Psalm and Lo and…
