If God suddenly appeared at your front door and revealed that He wishes to meet with your wife or husband for some unarticulated reason, how would you respond? Allow me. The following represents two most common reactions in an unexpected visitor scenario. You would probably do one of these two:
1. Stunned and unfamiliar, softly close the door and stumble through the house to fetch the requested member. Or,
2. Excitedly and…

The Goodness of God Will Lead to RepentanceThe very first verse mentioned above tells us that a
“godly sorrow” will help produce the actual repentance that is needed to lead us into being able to get saved with the Lord. This next verse then goes one step further and tells us that the
“goodness of God” will actually lead to this repentance.
the goodness of God leads you to repentance.” (Romans 2:4) On one end, God is causing a godly sorrow to set in on us so we can see what…

God Commands All to Repent to Be Able to Receive Eternal Salvation Through Jesus God commands us to repent when we are saved in these verses, “Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now
commands all men everywhere to repent. ” (Acts 17:30) “
Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.” (Acts 3:19)

but unless you repent you will all likewise perish.… Continue

1. True Repentance Will Lead to Salvation “For godly sorrow produces repentance to salvation …
(2 Corinthians 7:10) Notice two things. The word “repentance” is linked to the word “salvation” – “repentance to salvation.” In other words, you cannot get truly saved unless you are willing to repent. To repent means that you are willing to turn from the sins you have been living in. It means to have a change of heart and a change of mind. However, you…

Grace And Peace Multiplied To You
2 Peter 1:2–3
2Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, /v.3 as His divine power has given to us all things that
pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by
glory and virtue,
Imagine if God were to visit you in a dream tonight and ask you what He could do for you. What would you say to Him? Would you ask Him…

"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." Genesis 1: 1. Not only did God create the heaven and the earth, God also, "created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him, male and female created he them". Genesis 1: 27.
Every person of the whole human race is loved mightily and tenderly by God our Creator. Whatever God has ever done for the human race, he has done out of genuine love, and with an intense desire to see man happy. In the Book, the Bible, our…

I - I have God's love.
It came from up above.
And it's free - as free
As the flight of a dove.
So, from you, Satan,
I will have no fear
Because Jesus is here.
He's standing right here.
You're no equal,
For Jesus is so precious
and, oh, so very dear.
I will never give my life to you
No matter what you say or do.
I'm going with the proud,
While you have your…

Good Day~
Last week, as I was writing about Paul's words that "Christ's love compels us"--I began realizing some things about myself, and my own relationship with the Lord. I picked a book
off my shelf, The Return of the Prodigal Son by Henri Nouwen, and began reading it as collaborative material to expound on God's great love for us.
I came to the realization that has somewhat…

So, today in church the pastor made a wonderful point.
Have you ever read something in the Bible that just immediately lifts you up and makes you go, "Yeah... hey, yeah! That's right!" A quick spirit pick me up.
Ever realized that the devil will immediately interfere and take that good feeling away? How often had you read your Bible to the devil in a rebuttal against his attacks?
We often relax when we read something in the Bible that lifts our spirit up. We…

When I speak to you , how will you receive me ? When I come to you , what will you see ? When I reveal to you the coming glory, whay will be your answer ? When that truck fell on you and you didn't get injured , who do you think was holding it off your neck, When you droved that truck in Vietnam off that road to Danang, who kept you from being tossed out ? That blade of grass that saved you from falling off that cliff as a child , who put it there ? Now look back David there was… Continue

When we pray we must be persistent and humble. Most of all we can't depend on our own resourses to get us through problems. We need to trust God and His strength.
One of my favorite stories concerns a bishop who was traveling by ship to visit a church across the ocean. While in route, the ship stopped at an island for the day. He went for a walk on a beach. He came upon three fishermen mending their nets.
Courious about their trade he asked them some questions. Courious about his…

Please pray for my entire family. We are in such a battle now and none of us are leaders. None of us are christ like none have access to people who truly love God. Battles toward my children yet I am the one breaking I am the one who is growing even weaker . There are no strong god fearing people in our lives. I e-mailed near by church and hmmmmm wow no one responded. I was desperate and let them know we were in a bad way in need of christian folks and god. and no one freaking responded. This…

It’s easy just being a Christian web user! When you don the title of Christian webmaster, then that is a totally different story! I really don’t like that word “webmaster”. It infers superiority, when
really, I feel inferior in the realm of Christian web users. So for
this article I will call my title a Christian website creator. I think
that is far more descriptive then webmaster.
Just as a quick side note, I have found 4 different types…
