So, we’ve been talking about sin . . . about the struggle that is part of the human condition . . .

about Paul’s admission that ‘while he knows the good he ought to do,

            this is the thing he does not do’!   

Here’s the question—from whence does temptation come? 

   Does God tempt us?

       If not … where does the temptation come from??

I wonder if somehow God looks @ me in much the same fashion as I do with my own children...I have never been one to confront, argue or debate for any length of time..  It is a waste of my energy..  I have one  uh-maz-ing child who just makes my head tilt...being a parent I have to wonder, Is this how I frustrate my Father in Heaven???   Perhaps not with my words as my child does but with my actions of argument.  I  have to believe He looks at me at times, shakes his head, and says,  U know I…

Are we really living the Gospel Life? Check and see. Are we walking according to the Commandment of Our Lord, the Christ? Check and see. Do we love God with all our Heart, Soul and Srength? Do we love our Neigbour? Are we Clothing the Poor, feeding the Hungry, and Delivering the Captives free.

LET'S LEAVE OUR THEOLOGY BEHIND, AND LET IT HAVE ONLY A SMALL PART IN OUR…

There's a new effort to persuade people to get "Back in church".  It's targeting those who once attended church but who no longer come.  Most participating churches showed an uptick in attendance, and the effort is gaining momentum.

We're for anything that gets people back to church. But how much better…
