Do you believe in Miracles??  God’s great power.  Ephesians 1.19-20

Hi.

We need God’s power if we are to see miracles in our lives. And while there may be exaggeration, abuse and even fraud, the fact is, we serve a God who does miracles yet today ……

Good Day! 

You live your life every day.  You get up, wipe the sleep out of your eyes, have your coffee, and put your pants on, just like everyone else who is starting their day … then, you head out the door to work or school, beginning the machinations of managing another day.  So,…

Spiked to pair of wooden, interlocking beams,

He hung bleeding, after being severely whipped.

There Christ experienced for the first time,

what it really meant to be like us -

bruised, dirty and covered by a legacy of sin

that clamors for our eventual death.

On that fateful day of His crucifixion,

our Lord felt the agony of separation,

as Jehovah turned His back towards earth,

being unable to gaze lovingly at The Son.

In Christ’s final hours of…

There’s an uneasy emptiness…

which has been experienced by all of us;

it’s an inner void, that hungers,

that pushes us towards a spiritual search.

Our physical eyes tend to glaze over,

from not knowing: what is really needed.

Yet, we strain to see something tangible,

but may be unable to fully articulate

the unknown yearning that nudges

our restless, agitated spirits.

Seekers of hidden, sacred signs

face troublesome frustrations

of niggling…

   He will be with us “always” – hence, even today in every need of soul or body He is there.…

This post is inspired by a book that most people have heard or even read about:  The Magician's Nephew, part of The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis.  

I knew C.S. Lewis wrote several Christian books and heard that the Narnia books had an underlying Christian theme, which I saw in the movies.  I had only read a book or two of the series back when I was in elementary school, but I saw the whole collection in my sister's room…

I was reading in Romans 9 and 10 Monday night and began to question.  Verse 14 says “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.”  It speaks of God hardening Pharaoh's heart.  I started to look up commentary and websites on this issue.  Many talking about how can people be held responsible if God hardened their hearts...in other words, they didn't really…

Father draw me nearer Your Spirit I know You are there, guide me on this road of life with Your sweet grace,

I’ve pretty much always worried. I worry about the future, worry about bills, etc. Since being saved, it seems the worry has gotten so bad, but then it’s also been that it seems I’ve been hit with some massive issues. God’s way of getting me to overcome the worry?

So I get a call last night from a friend, who is worried, and she wanted to talk about her worries. Well…I was in bed and didn’t take the call. So I listened to her message then laid there and prayed…and worried.…

My thoughts and prayers go out to the injured, and indeed the nation of America. For sure the spirit of anti-Christ runs rampant on our planet. The more nations turn away from Almighty God, Creator of all that is, the less He will help them.

I think of the book of Hosea...how Israel, Ephraim, and Judah were rebuked by God because of their sin. Yes, there was judgment, punishment, and destruction all because of their stubbornness and turning away from Jehovah! America is no different.…

GOD IS AN AWESOME AND MIGHTY GOD!!
