March 2017 Blog Posts (32)

Feature Blog: God, Grace and Giving.

The God we serve is a forgiving God. One who balances His decrees and our self-interests, not out of equality or fair play but of equity (value) and sovereignty. This is what makes Him worthy of all our praises, thanksgiving, and worship. He is an awesome God and when compared to other so-called gods and deities have no equal because who really wants or needs to serve a vindictive superior being. The history of mankind has always been one of struggle, tyranny, and freedom. Of those…

Letter to the Faithful - Be True !

Be true to Christ! For in Him is the Anointing. Many of the Body having to face the trials and tribulations of the world strain their Blood bought Salvation. We must not surrender what Christ has fought for. For His Blood has already secured His seat of judgment and His will is for all who by free will have taken His Blood to not be before Him. …

The ATYPICAL COMPORTMENT of The Holy Spirit expressed in a believer.

The book of Acts,

Acts 2:12-13 He says :

Acts 2:12-13

12.And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?

13. Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.

Often we have missed out on God's will and purpose for our lives because we'll, it just doesn't make sense. That's right. It doesn't make sense to be socially austere, severely simple and of deliberate choices because you rely on the LORD to direct your paths.… Continue

Can you touch Grace?

Can you touch Grace?  Acts 11.19-24

Can you touch grace?  I mean, is it something tangible you can feel?

A few days ago, I had just finished speaking - specifically, talking about how grace was seen, heard, felt and dealt in the Christian community.  Honestly, the whole notion captures me!  How could Barnabas-a man...wait, could I say something totally sexist…

God always has a plan...

God always has a plan... and...  Acts 11.19-24

As China, particularly in the 20th century, tried to lock out Christianity entirely, look what has happened:
"...China is destined to become the largest Christian country in the world very soon..."1
"The number of Christians in Communist China is growing so steadily that by 2030 it could have more churchgoers than…

THE COST OF THE GARMENT

The LORD in His demonstration of mercy and desire to restore man from a fall, he remembers the garment that cost him his very life. He expositions the same feeling to man, that He’s dearly loved in the hope that it will awaken his desire to return to the LORD.

Ezekiel 16:10

I clothed you with an embroidered dress and put sandals of fine leather on you. I dressed you in fine linen and covered you with costly garments.

It then shows that the garment is of so much… Continue

The World is Dying, Literally!

Glory to God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, amen!

"Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away."- Matthew 24:35

This blog post is not meant to serve as an exhaustive or even menial researcher into the fact that our very God-given planet is dying faster and faster as we human beings create our own demise. I just thought I would share some thought provoking facts to meditate on:

Most of the world is…

The FATHER REVEALED IN THE SON

A classic call to the church:

Matthew 11:28-30

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

He says,

There is always a time of choices for a person and there will come a crossroad. It's in this place that the LORD is pleased to offer direction. In other words… Continue

Associations.

http://www.theempoweredchristian.com/the-christian-walk-08.html

As the saying goes, "Show me your friends and I will predict your future". We are a summation of our thinking which is influenced by the environment we are in, including family, friends, associates and media in all forms. The more we associate with a particular set of thinking then that thinking expresses…

Sharing the Bounty

Sharing the Bounty.

English roses are different than the ones we typically grow in the US, different from those that can be plucked from the big black vases in the grocery store. They are densely-petaled and a little bit lacey looking. Pictured below are my favorites: Abraham Darby, Shakespeare ~ And, English roses are hearty.

So in my last backyard, I had a bounty of them – in all colors and shades. Often, I made bouquets and gave them…

Burn the Cross.

http://www.theempoweredchristian.com/archives-59.html

Having been commanded to store up treasures of Heavenly value, (Matt. 6:20) many of the Body still hold onto things that moth, rust, and rot take hold of. We have been freed from Earthly things and lifted up onto Heavenly things. We can throw off the chains of the law and walk in Righteousness as Christ does. His Glory is no longer…

Christian Books, materials

I am passionate about spreading the word of God around the world. Myself and several of my friends are into Christian Media. We love translating Christian materials into different languages, convert Christian books into audio books, type the scanned copy of handwritten christian books and notes. May the Lord be with us!

"But, but I'm not a gardener!"

'I'm just not a gardener, so we have to make it simple,' I said to my new neighbors who came to help us design and plant a (large) front yard in Northern California.  See, we had bought an old home in foreclosure and the yard was nothing but rocks and weeds, and there was much work to be done.  Though I think it was about 22 years ago, I remember like yesterday thinking, 'Now I will be happy to water occasionally, but I can't imagine much more than that; I don't like getting dirt under my…
