Race and Religion

Understand that I'm not a religious person and at times my faith or belief in God truly waivers. The older I get, the more race and the subject of it concerns me. I have a daughter that will sooner or later face blatant racism. That is not what bothers me. It's the under-handed, closeted, "I have black friends" type of racism that will hurt most.

More violence against Christians in Nigeria

12 more Christian’s have been killed today in the in central Nigerian village of Byie on Wednesday. Witnesses have reported that some of the victims' tongues had been cut out. The attackers entered the Christian village about 2 a.m., setting homes on fire as their attackers waited with machetes to kill those fleeing from the flames. The victims included two children.
