My story with God
GOD has done a lot of things for me i would not even know where to start from.
there was once a time i was so ill i ws in intensive care for about 3months if i am right,i was going through so much suffering and so was my relatives but my grandmother and the other church members had hope and they used to hold prayers for me frequently.in my pain i used to cry out his name to save me from death and im still here to tell the story!.withought him i dont think i would have survived.
alot of things have changed since then and i feel like i have drifted very far from him ,at the same time i know i cannot face the challenges in this life without him.
Other stuff about me:
i am quite friendly but i seem to be a laid-back person but inside its a whole different game as i tend to think a lot,i have developed a conscience over the suffering that many people face today due war,hunger,greed and ignorants that most of us have towards understanding and helping others in need.

Soul food for the Day: The CENTER...

The center chapter of the BIBLE is Psalm 118.. there are 594 chapters before and after Psalm 118
And if we will add this we will get 1188... in which the center verse of the BIBLE is PSALM 118:8
What is the significant of Psalm 118:8 in God's perfect will for our lives?
It is better to trust in the LORD, than to put confidence in man.-- Psalm 118:8

When things get tough, always remember faith doesn't get you around trouble..
it gets you through it!
When you relinquish the desire to control your future you obtain happiness...

Prayer:
Father God, bless my friend in whatever it is that you know he/she may be needing this day....
May thier life be full of your peace, prosperity and power as they seek to have closer relationship with you. Amen...

"My Grace Is Sufficient For You"
Proclaim the power of God,
whose majesty is over Israel,
whose power is in the skies.
You are awesome, O God, in your sanctuary;
the God of Israel gives power and
strength to his people.
Praise be to God! --Psalm 68:34,35

In that day shall the LORD defend
the inhabitants of Jerusalem;
and he that is feeble among them
at that day shall be as David;
and the house of David shall be as God,
as the angel of the LORD before them. --Zech12:8

For all things are for your sakes, so that the grace which is spreading to more and more people may cause the giving of thanks to abound to the glory of God. --2 Cor.4:15

They will see the glory of the LORD, The majesty of our God. Encourage the exhausted, and strengthen the feeble. Say to those with anxious heart, "Take courage, fear not. Behold, your God will come with vengeance; The recompense of God will come, But He will save you." ---Isaiah 35:3,4

We need a Savior because we are sinners,
and the wages of sin is death...
Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift:
Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God
is the object of our faith;
the only faith that saves is faith in Him.

Soul Food for the Day: Magnify Your God!!!
“In this life you will have trouble but be of good cheer
For I have overcome the world”—Jn. 16:33
This means that when troubles sometimes come,
We can choose our attitudes. We can choose to believe.
He is greater than our problems because HE is…
Don’t magnify your problems.
Magnify your God!
The biggest we make GOD, the smaller our problem become.
Don’t dwell on what’s wrong in your life but on what’s right…
Have a God filled day! God is great!

Good day Ketai,
I am so glad that God has led you here. God is doing a wonderful work in the hearts of His people all over the world.
Please read the blog on my page; living in the eye of the storm with God and also my story if you get a chance.
You are in London and I am in Vermont and God is with us both.
You might feel like a lost sheep, but you are never out of the eye of the Good Shepard.

We will be judged some day about our relationship with God, so it seems that should be our focus, Getting to know God more.
We do this through prayer, worship, fellowship, studying the Bible. It is not about following a bunch of rules, but learning to love God because if you love Him you won't have any problem obeying Him.

Many people turn their relationship with God into a code of conduct. Then they think they are pleasing God because they are doing all the right things.

In the Bible it talks about the day of judgment and many will come and say; but Lord I did this and I did that and He will say depart from me I don't know who you are.

You know the 10 commandment are all about loving God and loving others?

If you love God and others you will be keeping the commandments. But even when you fail the blood of Jesus continues to cleanse us when we admit that we have done wrong. I know I have said a lot, so just meditate upon these things and the Holy Spirit will help you to understand all these things.
In the love of Jesus

Welcome to AAG. We want your experience here to be positive and uplifting. There are a couple of things that can help you maximize your experience.

Forums and Blogs: Forums are for asking questions and for sharing a response to a question someone has posted. This is a great opportunity for “iron to sharpen iron.” Blogs are for posting an opinion, view or specific message regarding a subject.

Making New Friends: You will make many new friends here on AAG. Some will send a friend invite to you. You have the choice to accept or decline. When an invite has been sent to you the “My Friends” the upper right box on your home page will be followed by the word “New”.” Simply click on the icon and make your choice. To invite someone to be your friend you simply need to go to their home page and click on “add as friend” under their personal photo. Once someone is your friend you will be able to email each of your friends on AAG. You can also leave a message on someone personal page, but note that everyone will be able to read what you leave there.

IMs: You can IM anyone who is on line by clicking on their picture located at the upper right part of the page.

Chat Room: There is a chat room located near the top of the AAG main page. It is a great place to get to know people better.

Videos: You can also upload Christian videos on the AAG main page or watch them. They are located down the left side of the main page.

If you have any questions feel free to ask. We are here to serve you to the best of our abilities.

We are glad you are here,

Greetings in the Lord! This is Bob, one of TheNET Moderators. Welcome! We're glad you are here!

Thanks for sharing some of your testimony with us. Just remember God finishes the work that He begins in us. It is true that when were are facing a serious trial like you did that we draw close to God and when the presures off we tend to draw back. Just like any relationship we need to work at it to make it grow.

I have included some links to help you navigate around the site. You may want to check out the Footprints group, the Links for Growth forum for great tips on how to grow in Christ, and Miracle Grow to help you get closer to God every day.

Once again, thanks for joining TheNET. I hope you make lots of good friends here and keep growing in the wisdom and knowledge of the Lord.

Don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions. I look forward to getting to know you.

In the love of Jesus.
Bob
