Interests:: I am going to school to become a personal trainer. God got me though a rough time in my life. He helped me lose 70lbs. I feel like he is reaching through me to reach other ppl with the same problems as I have. I am thankful for the strength he gave me to come this far and I know he will get me through anything.

I'm passionate about...: My family. I have a husband and two kids. they are my world. I have a great little sis, a beautiful mother, a great dad, and a stubborn little brother. I am probably also one of the luckiest ppl alive to have a great mother in-law also.

My story with God: I was never raised in church. I actually didn't hear much of God as a child. Well I mean I went to Sunday school with my aunts growing up and I went to VBS sometimes but that was about it. I went to my grandfather one day and asked him if God was supposed to take care of us then why did we have doctors and nurses? He told me "because God gave them the knowledge to take care of us. They were his angels." from then on I believed but I didn't live my life for him. I was doing things, with my now husband, that were bad all the time. We had the worst luck. every time we turned around something bad was happening then one day we realized that we were paying for all our sins. (bad Karma is what we called it.) Finally one day we decided that we were tired of living our life that way. We lost a lot of friends over the next couple of years but we had to do it for ourselves. and we did. Now we are thankful for all the little blessings that we are surrounded by. God is with us everyday.

Other stuff about me:: I accidentally ran across this site today while I was studying. We are having a really hard time right now and I believe God is trying to help me reach out to him. I think that's why I'm here.

I noticed your posting about your financial difficulties on another part of our site and wanted you to know I just prayed for you.

As you know, handling finances properly takes as much or more discipline as eating right and exercising. Do you have anyone that is serving as a "financial trainer" for you? Are you both disciplining yourselves with a budget?

Unfortunately, the solution will probably come down to a combination of slashing expenses to bare bones and generating more income. You may need to work part time or husband may need to find a second job to supplement your current income. Wish there were some easier way, but it is not going to last forever.

There are a number of good Christian financial websites out there such as www.crown.org that may be able to give you additional advice. Check them out if you haven't already.
