My story with God
My personal relationship with Jesus Christ is relatively recent, at least when compared with decades of religious education and church attendance. I have (at times) kept a spiritual journal, and when I look back on older entries I wonder at how shallow my view of God was. However today, thanks to certain experiences and insights shared by others, I feel more love and awe for God than ever before. And yet my circumstances in life have grown far more challenging and I do not see as much fruit or peace on a daily basis as at some other times in my life.

This is why I chose the name "amateur" when I joined. I feel that I am just stumbling around.

Praise God! That is very good news and a load off! Thank you for all the researching you did! I will definatly check those sites out. So, any plans for Turkey day? I will be spending Thanksgiving with my Husbands side of the family for the first time ever. I dont know what to expect..lol Have you ever seen that movie Home for the Holidays? Well its all about this family that gets together for Thanksgiving. They hate each other's turkeys, so they each make there own turkey and put it on the table. The grandmas sister is single and has had a crush on her sisters husband for years. She drinks one too many and comes out and tells everyone that 40 years ago, he kissed her and she goes into detail all about it! Its hilarious..We find out that grandmas hair isnt real and all sorts of other crazy events take place..

Thanks! We are getting ready for baby's arrival everyday now. I think Daddy is a little overwhelmed with all the things you have to do with a newborn and things of that nature..lol haha I was just talking about that concept of raising children with my Mother today. She told me that enjoying them and learning about who they are is very important and helps you bond with them. I definatly will keep that in mind. No, I dont have a mac, we have an HP. I dont know much about computers, or brands, but I am currently writting on microsoft word. I want to buy this program ( I forget what it is called) but you speak into a microphone and it types out your entire book as you spoke it. Do you know anything about that soft ware?

Your son will definatly be in my prayers. I suggest he hang on to that job the best he can. The economy isnt good at all. If it looks like he might loose his job, he should start quietly putting resumes in at other places. Its always smart to be prepared, just in case. Who knows, maybe God is opening a door for him somewhere else. Its always hard to hear that your child, no matter how old is struggling. Thank you for the warm wishes on my book. I really want it to stike a cord with non believers and people in situations with no hope. Referring to your list, I have heard many of those songs or artist. I just pay attention to the words and make sure my spirit agrees with the message. I love music and love all kinds of styles. I sing, and am also writting worship songs. ( currently stuck on compleatling all of them) I am bad with endings..lol But all in good time. Im not one of those people who say " oh you have to make it sound like this, or that for it to be acceptable" As long as the words are correct in Gods eyes, and the song is sincere, I see nothing wrong with it. So how many kids do you and your wife have? We are expecting our first and are very excited. Any suggestions?

Thank you very much! Blessing to you and yours as well. Yes, Jesus definatly took me from Darkness to Light in a moment of love. His love is wht turned me towards him and made my heart like new. I am actually, writting a book about it. I really want people to see and read about all the blessings and professies that have come to life on my walk with him. I am writting it in a non believers point of view and then showing my spirit awaken to the Lord.
Ahhh south New Jersey. I am sure it is beautiful up there. I actually lived on a farm and Ranch for a couple of years and loved it! Yeah, sending me a comment would probably be better about the List. Christians and music is a very contriversial topic in my oppinion. But if you are open to the critisism go right ahead. I'll definatly read it! I haven't been with allaboutgod.net that long myself, but I just jumped right in. Have a great day and it is always nice to hear from you friend.
In Christ,
Brooke :)

Welcome to AAG. We want your experience here to be positive and uplifting. There are a couple of things that can help you maximize your experience.

Forums and Blogs: Forums are for asking questions and for sharing a response to a question someone has posted. This is a great opportunity for “iron to sharpen iron.” Blogs are for posting an opinion, view or specific message regarding a subject.

Making New Friends: You will make many new friends here on AAG. Some will send a friend invite to you. You have the choice to accept or decline. When an invite has been sent to you the “My Friends” the upper right box on your home page will be followed by the word “New”.” Simply click on the icon and make your choice. To invite someone to be your friend you simply need to go to their home page and click on “add as friend” under their personal photo. Once someone is your friend you will be able to email each of your friends on AAG. You can also leave a message on someone personal page, but note that everyone will be able to read what you leave there.

IMs: You can IM anyone who is on line by clicking on their picture located at the upper right part of the page.

Chat Room: There is a chat room located near the top of the AAG main page. It is a great place to get to know people better.

Videos: You can also upload Christian videos on the AAG main page or watch them. They are located down the left side of the main page.

If you have any questions feel free to ask. We are here to serve you to the best of our abilities.

We are glad you are here,
LT

Well that isn't my type of weather... Im a cry baby in anything under 50. I have been to NYC and New Jersey once. From what I encountered, the weather, culture, people are different from the South East. I thought that since I was from Atlanta, I could handel it... WRONG! haha But, I think I would enjoy it in the summer.
When I was in car sales, I would put my praise and worship music on and sing it like the people next to me at the light were not looking, then I would get to work and before I walked in prayed, I would go to my office and read some from my bible before and after the meeting. You can use your time at work to re-bust you aswell. Does your wife have an account with Allaboutgod.net? If so, I'd like to get to know her too. May you both be STRONG in the Lord! God bless you both.
