- My story with God
- I was saved at age nine ina revival meeting. I got married at age 17 and stopped going to church one year later. Had two sons, Holy Spirit convicted me of my separation from God one day while listening to the crucifixion story on Back to the Bible Broadcast, my heart was broken because I had not been faithful in serving God. I rededicated my life to Him and was back in church following Sunday, I did not even know if my husband was a Christian. I asked him and he said he was, but later walked forward in church confessing Christ as Savior and we were both were baptized together and joined the church. We started serving God in that church. In 1965 I had a little girl who died 7 months later of a neuro-muscular disease. I had asked God to give me a little girl and He did , and to this day I still do not fully understand the reason behind her death, but one thing is for sure , I found out that God would never leave me or forsake me through it(Isa. 41:10 -13) He gave me that verse one night when I did not think I would able to live through her death. There are many other things that happened in my life, but God has always been faithful.My husband left after 35 yrs of marriage and we divorced 10 years later. For the first two years I was very depresed and bitter,but once again,my wonderful Lord showed me that He would be with and never forsake me.

- Other stuff about me:
- Been on three mission trips to other countries, and a couple lay renewal weekends helping out other churches. Had a worship service in a nursing home for ten years. Was a blessing to see a 95 yr old lady come to Christ only to die three weeks later. Made it by the skin of her teeth!(smile)
