Dearest Ruth;

I have tried more than I can say to write to you from my home computer, its the only one I have, but the message will just not cross that body of water between you and I. There must be a way to do it, but I can't figure it out. I keep hoping I'd get a message saying that I have to do something to make it to the UK, but no.

I hope you are well. how is your summer? We are having terribly hot weather, and its been going on for a month now. With my breathing problems its pretty miserable.

Just thought I drop a line to you and say hello.

Be Blessed Ruth

your sister in Christ Jesus

Hello Ruth, I hope you are having a good evening.

Thank you for giving me Mikes name, he now has hundreds, maybe thousands of people praying for him. I also added little Reese's name. I was a Foster Mother for many many years, and I started taking babies that were born of mothers taking drugs. The impact they had on me will stay with me forever. I spent many night's rocking them all night, some just couldn't be comforted. It was so sad! Most of them were on methadone but it didn't help all that much. Fortunately there were some that made it, but because they were so small the Dr. said it was likely they would react to the influence of the drugs their whole lives. I had one small one that I didn't get until she was almost a year old. Because she cried so much both of her parents abused her, and when I got her she was purple and blue from all the blows. I took her into the Er one night, because she was having seizures, and I sat in the waiting room with her, rocking back and forth while she cried constantly. A nurse even came out and told me to keep her quiet. I was getting frantic because they had 'other priorities' and wouldn't see us. After an hour and 10 minutes her little body became stiff and I went back to the window and got a little upset. They just told me to sit down and keep her quiet. She died in my arms about ten minutes later. I just sat and rocked her, and I thought my heart would break. When I finally got up and went back to the window I told them they didn't need to rush now. When I told them she had died they took me right in, too late, too late. Her name was Gloria and I called her Glory. She was so beautiful, and now home with Jesus, never to feel the drugs working in her, never to cry, never to grow up and live life. At peace at last, and safe from people like her parents. She was buried three days later and only I and her case worker were there. Her parents were in jail.

Be Blessed,

Susanne

Hello Chris: Your art work is lovely.God gave me many blessings but  drawing or any form of art was not one of them. Beautiful!!

I love the 'grannies for Jesus', sounds better than 'groupies'!

May God guide your hand and your mind as you think of more lovely art works

Be Blessed,

Susanne

Yes Ruth I will pray for him. We couldn't have our usual prayer meeting tonight because of the snow. Our group is all seniors and walking is even treacherous. Three ofuus are doing it by phone and if I may I have access to several 'Pray Warrior' groups and I will add his name if that's appropriate. Can you tell me his first name so we can make it more personal?

Thank you for asking me.

Susanne
