My story with God

I was raised a Christian, but my parents and my sister were always very casual about religion. They mostly went to church to meet people, but i found myself enthralled by the stories of god and his creations. I don't often get to go to church because of my job, but i believe and love god. I want to learn more about him and how i can strengthen my relationship with him. I struggle with mental illness, and often look to god as a beacon in darker times. I would also like to work on being more optimistic and prayerful.
