I was about 12 when I was first introduced to the church and my school life was pretty poor, as well as my attendance, at 14 I gave my life to God and somehow after meeting Him, my enjoyment at school increased as well as my potential and my attendance increased. I even managed to continue education at sixth form. After passing my chosen A-Levels and applying to 5 universities I was sure that I had secured a place at my chosen uni and decided that there was no point going to my last interview. However, God talked me round and convinced me to go, even for the experience, for me to find out the next day that my place wasn’t confirmed as I thought but the place that I had my final interview would be the next place to continue education, this was Liverpool Hope. I’m there today, half way through my first year, and expecting a long and fruitful life and career because of Jesus!
Since meeting God I have been going to church regularly and although I have sinned and done things wrong, I find that God is always there and forgives me time an time again. Even when I began to find other things more exciting, mates, going out, drinking, boys an stuff but I recently recommitted my life to God and now want to live for him totally. I don’t want to go live half and half, I want to live with God and in God 100% and because of His grace and mercy I find myself in a very rich position today, a position that many doubted I could ever be. All because of Christ in Me.
