My story with God

I want to know more about the character of God. If He is so wonderful like Scripture and those who testify say He is, how come bad things happen to born again people? Are they not supposed to be the children of God? are they not supposed to be the friends of God? So how come born again people lead a life that is undesirable at times.

How come their God seems not to care like He is ceased with more important matters of running the universe? Does God care about individual Christians or He cares about groups of Christians? Maybe He deals with the "big picture" of getting people to Heaven even if they have to walk through fire?

Is God's love a selfish love were He only considers His glory at the expense of human experiences? Can you ever be-friend God and He really watches over your back like what my human friends do or He is the kind of friend who knows everything and yet He knowingly leaves you walking into a fire?

Is God sad when bad things happen to Christians? Anyway, is there reason for Him to be sad when he could have stopped the bad to happen.
