Teaching my eleven year old step son everything I know about the Bible and Christianity, so he has a good foundation on which to build his life.

My story with God

I grew up in a regimented and legalistic religion, and broke away in my early twenties. I have not gone to church in over 30 years, however, have rededicated my life to the Lord withing the past ten years. I love Jesus with all my heart and talk with Him every day. I just started to really understand the Bible in recent years and am experiencing many A-hah moments! I feel like I can't get enough of my Bible and enjoy studying every chance I get.

Other stuff about me:

I was not a practicing Christian when I met my husband eleven years ago, and now that I am recommitted, I pray every day that God can use me to stir up some interest in my spouse. Although he is presently very indifferent, he will occasionally join in during meal time blessings with his son (my eleven year old step son), and make it an enjoyable experience. Rather than nag him, I do the best I can to reflect Christ in my actions, hoping he can see a positive change in me. I can only do it with the Lord's help and if it is His will, my husband, whom I love dearly, will come around and want to know Christ better.
