Reading (novels, local newspaper, news mags.),
gardening, domestic travel, retirement articles
on the internet. My wife of 45 years, two
(adopted) children and 3 grandchildren.

I'm passionate about...

Moving with my wife to Houston so that we can
become full-time members/participants with
"The Fellowship of Excitement" ... Second Baptist
Church (Dr. Ed Young). We have visited Houston
and 2nd 7 times, and have gained friends in
the "Perfect Peace" adult Sunday school. We
are getting our home ready to list so we can
make our joint dream a reality.

My story with God

I was a Unitarian for years. First by television
ministry, and then in person, I came to believe
that a God that can create the universe is
certainly powerful and omnipitant enough to care about each one of us human beings through Jesus Christ.

Other stuff about me:

I'm eager (along with my wife) to expand our
knowledge of our Christian faith and to overcome
our joint fear and hesitation about witnessing
to friends and co-workers.
We are alarmed about the direction of our secu-
lar socienty -- sexual immorality, abortion on
demand, the exhaltation of "stuff" and seeing
so many young couples parking their children in day care (both parents working), and still taking on huge debts to get frivilous things -- big TV's, SUV's, boats -- etc.
