My story with God

I was raised in a Christian home. I went to a private Christian high school. I believe in God and the crucifixion and resurrection. I have the basic head knowledge, but it never connects with my heart or emotions. I feel very frustrated and distant from God currently. I am thankful for the things that I know He has done for me, but I have a ton of questions. I want healing over many personal pains. I need a breakthrough. He knows my heart and my deepest hurts and desires. I wonder if it will ever get better and if I will ever really understand.
