Be thankful that you don't already have everything you desire.
If you did, what would there be to look forward to?

Be thankful when you don't know something,
for it gives you the opportunity to learn.

Be thankful for the difficult times.
During those times you grow.

Be thankful for your limitations,
because they give you opportunities for improvement.

Be thankful for each new challenge,
because it will build your strength and character.

Be thankful for your mistakes.
They will teach you valuable lessons.

Be thankful when you're tired and weary,
because it means you've made a effort.

It's easy to be thankful for the good things.
A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who are also thankful for the setbacks.

Gratitude can turn a negative into a positive.
Find a way to be thankful for your troubles,
and they can become your blessings

Soul food for the Day:John 10:16
“I have other sheep that do not belong to this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd.”-John 10:16
A sheep pen often held several flocks, with each flock having its own shepherd. When the time came to take his flock to its pasture, each shepherd separated his sheep from the others by making a unique call. Instead of driving them, he led them, and they followed him as one unit. The shepherd always went before them to guide them to the most beneficial pasture and to protect them from danger.
Jesus' references to the sheep are personal: "His own sheep" (verse 4), "My sheep" (verse 14), and "other sheep I have" (verse 16). Everyone is owned by the Creator God. The Father is the "Author of Creation" (Isaiah 40:28; 43:15), and the One who later became known as the Son, Jesus Christ, is the Word, through whom Creation was brought into existence and the work done (Psalm 102:25; John 1:1-3; Colossians 1:16-19; Hebrews 1:2, 10; Revelation 4:11). As such, His sheep are very familiar to Him and bear the mark of ownership—unconditional obedience and submission

Welcome Andy
Glad you joined our wonderful internet family, sharing the love of Christ, learning and growing in your spiritual life. And as a bonus making wonderful friends.
Read about your struggle. I must say that in admitting your problem is speaking the truth and the Word says the truth shall set you free. On our All about God.com site is a lot of articles and material to help you in your struggle. You need to be delivered for this in an attack and a hold of the devil over your life. Will pray for you and we bind the devil in Jesus name and break the yoke and stronghold that he has over your mind and thoughts in JEsus name and we loosened the mighty power of the spirit to set you free of this bondage in Jesus name!!

May you experience a wonderful fellowship and growth with all the others by joining in the groups and forums and share the love of Christ.
Blessings Nienie

Hi Andy

So good to hear from you. All I can tell you is that the struggles make you strong and you grow from your mistakes, never regret what has happened in your life because that's how your character is formed. Don't beat yourself up about your mistakes just try and work them out, look towards the light of Jesus for guidance, stay strong knowing that He loves you no matter what.

I will keep you in my prayers and will chat again soon.

Have an awesome day.

Angel
