Bluebells in a ravine near the cabin to give an idea of the terrain in most of the woods. (April 2012) Runoff from the last glacier carved deep into this area of Ohio so lots of ravines and rolling hilly countryside. 10 feet below the soil surface is solid sandstone which makes it unfit for most farming and development: area is the beginning of the designated Appalachia poverty area.
