A question I have been pondering lately is,

Who is the Bride of Christ? Specifically!

1. Is it all the Believers from the beginning of the world to the end of the world.
2. Is it all the Old Testament Saints of God, and the New Testament Church, up to the event known by many as the Rapture of the Church? (The word Rapture is not in the Bible, but was given to the event when the 1st Resurrection will take place and Christ takes them to Heaven, and the Christians that are ready to meet Him, at that time). It is said that when the "Rapture" takes place, we go to Heaven and attend the "Marriage Supper of the Lamb of God", which I understand may take place during the 7 years of Tribulation upon the Earth. Then after the Marriage Supper and the 7 years of Tribulation, Christ will return to the Earth to set up His Earthly Kingdom for 1,000 years.

However, not all Christians will go to Heaven during the Rapture, many will be left behind, because they were not ready and will have to endure the 7 years of Tribulation. Are they still consider part of the Bride of Christ?
