All About GOD

All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

Here are two examples of Paul Praying for to groups of people. We see Prayers all over the Word of God. Do we live in agreement with these, receive what is contained in these Prayers, and learn how to Pray. Or, all of the above and so much more.
2Thess 1:11-12 So we keep on praying for you, asking our God to enable you to live a life worthy of His call. May He give you the power to accomplish all the good things your faith prompts you to do. Then the name of our Lord Jesus will be honored because of the way you live, and you will be honored along with Him. This is all made possible because of the Grace of our God and Lord, Jesus Christ. Paul shows us a very powerful Prayer. Asking God to enable them to live a life worthy of His Call. Not only that but, much deeper. Paul is asking God to give them the Power to accomplish all the good things Faith prompts one to do.
Col 1:3-6, 10-14 Paul’s Thanksgiving and Prayer 3 We always pray for you, and we give thanks to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. 4 For we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and your love for all of God’s people, 5 which come from your confident hope of what God has reserved for you in heaven. You have had this expectation ever since you first heard the truth of the Good News. 6 This same Good News that came to you is going out all over the world. It is bearing fruit everywhere by changing lives, just as it changed your lives from the day you first heard and understood the truth about God’s wonderful grace. We ask God to give you complete knowledge of His Will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding. 10 Then the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better. 11 We also pray that you will be strengthened with all His glorious power so you will have all the endurance and patience you need. May you be filled with joy, 12 always thanking the Father. He has enabled you to share in the inheritance that belongs to his people, who live in the light. 13 For He has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, 14 who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins.

I tried to start a general discussion on the main page.  So I will try here instead.  These Prayers contain some valuable information.  He will give us the power to accomplish what our faith prompts us to do.  Then he is asking God for complete knowledge of His Will, spiritual wisdom and understanding.  In doing this we honor the Lord...He has transferred us into the Kingdom of His dear Son.  What do you  think of these Prayers, and how best do we make them part of who we are?

One thing I was shown in this was, they "keep Praying" as the Word tells us to ask and keep asking.  Part of their Prayers were, asking God to enable these people to Live a life Worthy of  His Call.  And, for Power to be successful.  Our Faith in God and Love for His Children comes from our confident Hope of what is protected for us in Heaven. So as Paul asked, then we must also be able to ask, "God to give you complete knowledge of His Will and to give you spiritual wisdom and understanding."  As we do these things, " the way you live will always honor and please the Lord, and your lives will produce every kind of good fruit. All the while, you will grow as you learn to know God better and better."  To learn about God more and more, we are strengthened in ways as never before.  Jesus," who purchased our freedom and forgave our sins."  The Father,  "He has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of Our dear Lord.  These must be Prayers we can Pray, yes?
