Maybe this is only for me.  I read these verses and I am convicted.

34 For who can know the LORD’s thoughts?
Who knows enough to give him advice?
35 And who has given him so much
that he needs to pay it back? {Rom 11:34-35}
As I read these words I am convicted. I have felt I knew better than what was and has been going on in my life. It is not that I believed I knew more. Nor is it that I should not Pray for good things to take place in my life. What I am sharing is, as I read these two verses, I am left with conviction. Please no one get me wrong about this. I Believe in Faith; in His Promises, All of them. Yet, when I read these Words of God, I have to consider my attitude. What is the condition of my heart? Have I given into the temptation to think inside I have earned something? That I am owed something? We base our Hope on the Words, Then The King will say to those who are at His right, 'Come, blessed ones of my Father, inherit the Kingdom that was prepared for you from the foundation of the universe.' {Matt 25:34} Again Please I am Not saying Faith for things here are wrong; Faith for Healing; Faith to receive All His Blessings He has for us here. I do Believe in these things. Maybe I am the only one. These words maybe just me confessing my sins to you, to Our Lord. My heart must be grateful, not demanding what I think is owed. Keep me in your Prayers and thoughts, you are in mine.
These two verses seem to give me confirmation. 25 I want you to understand this mystery, dear brothers and sisters,g so that you will not feel proud about yourselves. {Rom 11:25} 36 For everything comes from him and exists by his power and is intended for his glory. All glory to him forever! Amen

As I went over what I shared I saw a mistake.  " Maybe I am the only one. These words maybe just me confessing my sins to you, to Our Lord."  What I meant is, maybe I am the only one who is convicted by those verses.  If, that was the case than I was confessing my sins to you and The Lord.

I have always said, "it is a heart thing."  Since God knows our heart; since our spirits and hearts are either the same or connected.  The operation of Faith in part, takes place in the heart.  As I had said, " Yet, when I read these Words of God, I have to consider my attitude. What is the condition of my heart? Have I given into the temptation to think inside I have earned something? That I am owed something?"   Another example,  ...“I command you by that Jesus whom Paul preaches!” 14 Seven sons of a Jewish high priest named Sceva were doing this. {Acts 19:13-14} They thought just using The Name of Jesus would work.  We must also Believe in Jesus, and in the Power of applying His Name.

Sorry if any misunderstanding.  Lord Bless

When we drive a vehicle, we have our eyes set on the road at the furthest point we can see. We do notice the road in between, watching for obstacles, but our eye is set further down the road. So it is with our walk with Christ. We see the obstacles and drive around them, always looking toward our destination. Or at least, that is what we should be doing. Sometimes the obstacle is something we can't *drive around*. Some times we have to slow down and drive through, using extreme caution. We need to listen to our Copilot. He is watching for things we might miss. If we err, and run off the road, He will guide us back on again.

I count on the Lord and the Holy Spirit to get me to my destination.

Blessings...

Rita
