All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others
For us to walk in the Spirit, we must know who we are in Christ. How do we discover this?
I believe we must start in Col 2:2-3 2 Because they are united in love, I work so that they may be encouraged by all the riches that come from a complete understanding of Christ. He is the mystery of God. 3 God has hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge in Christ. In v.2-3 Paul tells us, from a complete understanding of Christ, having that knowledge is wealth. And, from this we are to be encouraged. As we have surrendered to Christ. And, having confessed He is our Lord, we then are “in Christ.” As He is in us, then so is Wisdom and Knowledge. As we continue in Colossians 2:6-7 we see 6 You received Christ Jesus the Lord, so continue to live as Christ's people. 7 Sink your roots in Him and build on Him. Be strengthened by the faith that you were taught, and overflow with thanksgiving. To live as Christ’s people. I like to “sink your roots” in Him. As a tree reaches out with its roots, to satisfy it hunger, with the knowledge it will die if it does not find what it needs. So we build on Him, we exercise our Faith with Thanksgivings, and so we are Strengthened. Then to confirm this I go to Eph 3:14-19 14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, 15 of whom the whole family in the heavens and on earth is named,16 that He may give to you, according to the riches of His glory, with might to be strengthened through His Spirit, in regard to the inner man, 17 that the Christ may dwell through the faith in your hearts, in love having been rooted and founded, 18 that ye may be in strength to comprehend, with all the saints, what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height, 19 to know also the love of the Christ that is exceeding the knowledge, that ye may be filled -- to all the fulness of God.
These are some of my thoughts and reasons, for who we are in Christ. What are yours? As to the question, we must know who we are in Christ, for us to be what we are in the Spirit. What are any of your thoughts?

Chris it is amazing every time we look at scripture all the thought and reasons I have are summed up very nicely in those verses. I have gone through some trying times in the past 25 years and there has always been a peace a joy that has allowed me to continue. There has always been an ability to help (serve) in some manner regardless of finances, health or other afflictions. It is as if when I feel I can not do it He is there doing it for me. I have come to learn I can do nothing of value without Him. He is my engine!!!!!!!!

He is mine also. Even at times when I have been out of fuel. The Spirit tells me to fashion a sail. And, I am blown to where I have been instructed to go. When we do not see how it is even possible, to go on. We are told, "Stop closing your eyes, you will be able to see better child." I had to laugh out loud as heard what to write, just then. And, I needed to laugh. We are ones that make this difficult. We think at times, God You are asking TO Much!! Only to hear, "it's our flesh that is the problem, not Me child."
If, I had a dime for every time I heard, "Are you done yet, can We move on now?" I would be able to buy the world a Coke. (sorry pepsi drinkers). When we finally learn, we have all the answers we ever need, inside of us. As, Jesus and the Spirit are inside of us. 3 "God has hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge in Christ." We must humble ourselves, ask of Him, and be quiet long enough to hear, what He has to say. We will discover, His Love, His Wisdom, and All the Riches as never before.
