December 25th has been recognized as Jesus` birthday for hundreds of years by most Biblical churches, merchants, and the North Pole.

What are your thoughts and references?

Hey
Linda Ruth..

you beat me to it. I was going to recommend this video. I just watched it again yesterday. ~C

Hey Linda Ruth and Carla.

Yes, this explanation came out at a recent Bible study. I believe there are treasures in the Old Testament which are linked to the New Testament. All we have to do is dig.

Thanks Linda Ruth for the Star info. I`ll be ordering it.

Grace and Peace to all.

Yes He was and it was approximately 6:30 pm on an overcast day. Well overcast until the heavenly host showed up or was it Rudolph with his shinny nose? Help!

hahahaaha Just kidding :)

You got some great responses bro. I love that star of Bethlehem vid.

I would say that the bible says that no""Christ wasn,t born on dec25 because the shepherds did not remain in the fields during DEC because of lack of forage and the bad weather Luke2:7-8

Jesus's parent came to  register in a Roman census, the Romans would have known better than have a census in the winter because of the freezing temps, and very poor road conditions making travel very hard and if the Romans did this it would be self defeating Luke 2:1-4

Thank you all for your response to this post.

So, we are a segment of  believers that don`t go along with Jesus` birthday being on Dec.25th.

What does that mean? Should we just smile and go along with the flow of tradition?

I just have a problem with agreeing to this man-made event, which is erroneous, commercialized, and brightend with Rudolph`s nose rather than God`s Glory.(David, that was pretty good).

At any rate, let me wish you all a blessed Christmas season.
