Greetings Emmanuel/,

In Acts 2:38, Peter said " Repent, and be baptized, everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, AND YOU SHALL RECEIVE THE GIFT OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.".

Some persons do speak in tongues.

Some persons don't speak in tongues. I don't speak in tongues myself.

Speaking in tongues is a Spiritual gift described in First Corinthians, Chapters 12 and 14.

Grace and Peace.

I agree Richard. I myself do not speak in tongues.

Over the years I felt like my gift was along the lines of hospitality. I receintly have felt a calling towards evangelism.

I was baptized this last Sunday. I found out that I wasn't as a child, but thats another story. I don't know if the good Lord will send me different gift or not. I guess that is up to Him.

God is sooooo coooool

Gary

Alright, Brother Gary,

Welcome to the ranks of Believers in Jesus Christ.

There's a war going on, you know. Reinforcements are always welcome. And we know the angels in Heaven are still rejoicing at your arrival into the Kingdom.

I've seen new Christians receive Spiritual gifts early on, and sometimes later in their walk.

You'll know when it happens.Amen.

Grace and Peace.
