(Ack, just getting awake and misclicked and closed title page before adding text! Need more coffee.)

"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.' "Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?' "The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me." Matthew 25:35-40

(From my "About Me" section on Facebook, where I have been planning things out): "With a background in geology, biology, philosophy and fine arts I have finally lost my taste for modern civilization along with having no family obligations since my son is on his way with his career in computer graphics. So, for a year now, I have been planning to become "homeless by choice" or maybe "running away as an adult" in the late spring/early summer of 2014 and exploring the range of the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers and their tributaries via a canoe.
My plans are on selling my homestead in the woods late 2013 (then eventually taking my government retirement benefits) and using them to: 1. Aid the homeless at the many camps along the rivers with food, clothing and life necessities; 2. Do my Christian pen & ink drawings on Christian themes and a bit of sketching & photographing nature, and 3. To collect and study rocks, fossils and nature for donating to schools and museums.
I will explore north during warm seasons and south during cold, all travel will be by canoe and mostly camping along the way (with a monthly several days stay at motel for a nice hot bath).  Blending elements from both primitive and modern technology (via solar chargers) should provide a fairly comfortable journey with digital versions of favorite books, music and movies.
I will set up a bank, mailing address and storage units at Cairo, IL  (where the Ohio meets the Mississippi) and New Orleans, LA (which opens up the gulf and eastern states) in addition to my hometown, Lancaster, Ohio.
Much of 2013 (as half of 2012 was) will be spent in downloading and editing maps, ebooks and useful information and obtaining the needed gear with June or July 2014 as a departure date on a local stream that eventually makes its way to the Ohio River.
It has been a long time coming, but in many ways it's a lot like God having Moses lead the Israelites on a 40 year wandering through the desert to mold them to His way. I've certainly been purged and molded again and again since both sets of grandparents started calling me "That onery boy".
It is going to be quite an adventure and perhaps do a bit of the Will of God along the way. But I am still "That onery boy", so we will see.
