Here's a new photo Thursaday, April 12th of what the Orchard looks like now!  Faced with the daunting task to pinch off all the blooms this year so all energy goes into tree growth and not fruit.

This is beautiful! God, you are amazing.

Couple new photos since was I was out trimming the grape arbor half a day. It's forty feet long, north 20 is Niagara grapes and south 20 is Concord (grape photos on this page. Still lot of open spots on trellis, but slowly getting vines trimmed and trained to fill in gaps. Lot of work this past year. Photo today 6/5/13.

Actually, I reordered 10 more vines of each variety once I got the first 10 so I could do a nice 40 foot classic walk-through archway trellis design I saw on the web, Concords make up the south 20 feet and Niagara's the North 20 feet.

Baby grapes just starting to form. Late summer, early fall should have lots to eat, make into jelly, wine and barter with local farmers for their produce. Photo today 6/5/13.

The blueberry, blackberry, raspberry plants I planted on south, east and west borders are slowly filling in around the cheapo wire fence; couple years should have a nice almost impenetrable briar patches and the bonus of goodies for pies, pastries and jams. This is the west fence with raspberries (200 plants along about 700 feet boundary, east the same with blackberries, south border has 100 blueberries.). Photo today 6/5/13.
