Micropterus salmoides, Largemouth Bass, (adult, ODNR Photo)

Orconectes obscurus, Allegheny Crawfish (July 2011). Grow up to 5 inches, live in creek under flat rocks. Like the creek minnows and salamanders, these I collected by hand from local streams. Added 30 to my stream and 70 (mostly larger ones) to my pond since they are a favorite fish food.  They are also edible, very popular in the southern US states.

Physa sp, Gyraulus sp., Heliosoma sp., Stagnicola sp. Creek Snails. Algae eaters, collected by hand from local streams. 100 added to stream and 100 to pond since another food source for smaller fish. (June 2011)
