And we can speculte until we are blue in the face, Because the Word says that the end will come like a thief in the night. so Don't worry about all of this just make sure we are ready and that our lamps are full of oil and that the wicks are trimmed.

Really interesting to hear all the threads and it really reveals how we are all developing in such different ways. I am really interested in the Jewish Roots of the christian culture at this time and have learned so much about the cultural aspect of christianity. I love the comment by kneelingB4jesus about the jewish calendar, I am just learning about all of this and find it really interesting

I am so tired of sites that are so called christian and bible based and they have things like porn and yoga, and psychics and woe betide us "gay christian psychic who is called to be a pastor". Why do you think God destroyed the earth in the Great flood, and why did God destroy so many races and cities. It was precisely because of these kind of "alternative practices" that were allowed to creep into Christianity. But the Word warns us that morals will bdecay and people will be led astray. but WE who know what is right need to take a stand and declare that any so called "christian site" which includes all these pagan, ungodly things should be banned and should be closed down. Or bombarded with scripture so that they get the message

The three main categories of sin are the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life (1 John 2:16). Pornography definitely causes us to lust after flesh, and it is undeniably a lust of the eyes. Pornography definitely does not qualify as one of the things we are to think about, according to Philippians 4:8. Pornography is addictive (1 Corinthians 6:12; 2 Peter 2:19), and destructive (Proverbs 6:25-28; Ezekiel 20:30; Ephesians 4:19). Lusting after other people in our minds, which is the essence of pornography, is offensive to God (Matthew 5:28). When habitual devotion to pornography characterizes a person’s life, it demonstrates the person is not saved (1 Corinthians 6:9).

Just a thought, The Lord says in the Word "In 3 days I will build My church" and if each day is as a thousand years to the Lord, then it makes sense to start looking for the signs of the second comming a little closer to the year 3000. The word also teaches us that it will surely come regardless of the so called signs that we keep running after all theat is required of us is to be ready. and the Trumpets will actually be the sound of Trumpets not some strange connection that people put on world events. The word is very specific what it says is what it means not some connotation that someone decides to connect it to. Because it is also written that what kind of father would give his child a snake if he asks for bread? so if the word says trumpets that is what it will be. BE very careful brothers and sister of running after STRANGE FIRE (warped or twisted interpetation of the word) it can get you killed

THE LAND WITHOUT FATHERS.............
Fathers needed this could be the heart cry of many in our world today.real Godly and faithful fathers are absent in many homes.sadly churches are also facing the absence of real fathers.why are there so few fathers? because there are very few sons.jesus has taught us that he was contented being a son.he never usurped power to be the father.the son can do nothing by himself, he can do only what he sees his father doing (john:5:19). The best way to raose fathers or be a Godly, spiritual or earthly father to others is by first learning to be a son.

In Matthew 24 Jesus gives a list of things that would happen just before his return such as an increase in earthquakes, famine, war, disease, crime and so on and some will say we have always had these things and that is right, but he added a qualifier, these things would increase at a dramatic rate and happen all at the same time. So yes we are living in the time right before Christ returns.
