JESUS SET US FREE

____ JESUS WILL SET YOU FREE____

Don't let fear become your prison,
don't let shackles keep you bound,
for in the name of Jesus,
there is freedom to be found.

In the valley there is darkness,
fear makes growth and doubts ascend,
but in the precious name of Jesus,
light is seen again.

Your spirit has no fetters,
for God's child is never bound.
It's the human side that gathers
in what Satan throws around.

He stands aside just waiting
for the moment we are down.
Then marches in his army,
till we're weak and tightly bound.

If you live more in the valley,
then on the mountain high.
There has to be a reason,
search your heart and find out why.

Don't let Satan make you live a life,
of fear, and doubt, and dread,
for it also makes, a mockery of,
the blood that Jesus shed.

So put on the armor furnished,
like we're told to in His word,
stand up straight to Satan,
make sure your words are heard.

"You no longer can torment me,
for the Lord has set me free,
your arrows though they strike me
will not penetrate through me.

I'll not give you any freedom,
in my life you'll not be found,
for when Jesus died on Calvary,
He broke all chains that bound."

Then keep your eyes upon the Savior,
let Him wash your fears away,
let the blood He shed on Calvary,
cleanse the wounds of yesterdays.

The Lord is ever willing,
He'll meet you more, then just half way.
He will guide you through His spirit,
so you may have a brighter day.

A LISTENING EAR

Sometimes when we grieve
We’d rather be alone
Or talk to someone
With a listening ear!

It isn’t that we seek advice
On how to mend a broken heart
And so ease the pain of grief
That is the last thing we require;
It’s just that talking offers release
And a listening ear brings needed comfort!

“Weeping may endure for a night,
but joy cometh in the morning.”

So if blessed with a listening ear
Lend it to that hurting someone
To show just how much you care
And without doubt you have done
A mighty deed even though you were silent
The Holy Spirit was at work in your midst!

“Wait on the Lord; be of good courage
and He shall strengthen thine heart…” Psalm 27:14

Servant

I am a servant of the most high God
Before no other I will kneel
Only in Him can my salvation come
Through His Son who holds the seal.

From me He demands repentance
I must turn from filth and sin
That has weighed so heavily upon me
If my new life is to begin.

On my knees I stoop before you
Head bowed I revere your name
Let your majesty be known to all
Our lives will never be the same.

Use me Lord as a sword to plunder
The evil enemy of our faith
No demon lord will stand against you
In your truth we are always safe.

Reborn Saviour
Jesus beaten bleeding
Hunched low under the weight
Of His cross and of our sins
He walks toward His fate.

A thorny crown you wear
Sad flesh ripped and torn
Will no one stand up for you
Soon you will be reborn.

The hammer lifts and falls
Driving through the Son of man
A tree on which you hang
Son of the Great I Am.

A thorny crown you wear
Sad flesh ripped and torn
Will no one stand up for you
Soon you will be reborn.

Still you do forgive us
We evil wretched souls
So full of hate and loathing
Our vengeance took its toll.

One last chance you gave us
On your back the stripes of sin
The yoke you lifted up
Reborn Saviour live within.
