Trying to walk with God and face depression and grief makes the walk hard.

It is when we feel that God is so far away from us that He is closer than ever, carrying us through those times. Just feel Him there and recieve His comfort. Be open to recieve His love, His perfect,peaceful love.

ahhh. sounds like you and your lovely wife had a beautiful and blessing filled life together my friend. You have been blessed with so much that many never find, Hold these memories in your heart and hold onto your children and I pray you find comfort with God and with each other.AMEN!

well , we are all here for each other Norman. You will find many here who are compassionate and we have all gone through these times. I too had a ten year bout with depression and am so happy that God carried me through and sent many into my life who helped me along the way.

Thank you and I am sorry to hear about your illness it has to be so hard to not to be able do everything you want . But God has put you their to help so many others such as your house keeper who needs God in hurt life and she can see Him through you.

I just received a call from a nurse that Dorothy had that I had not heard from her since that night on May 10 at 6:41 and she remained me that God still has a purpose for my life and I just need to let Him carry me and turn to Him daily.

Norman , he is always there , he loves us and sustains us and holds us up during our hardships . Pray all the time and he is there . I know you feel lonely and hurt without your wife . But GOD is with you and he will restore you . He restores us. He does. He will give you strength , joy and happiness . You will always miss someone you love, but God WILL LEAD YOU and you can be a blessing to others. Pray always , he answers. GOD BLESS YOU, Gianni

I know He is their and has been carrying me but I continue to loose sight of Him and feel like I am coming apart alpt of the time.

Norman , do not worry , GOD is there you can't lose sight . Your world feels upside down to you . It just means you are upset and depressed. But you need to pray alot . The more you stay in prayer the more you will feel connected. GOD will strengthen you and guide you . People will come into your life who will help you. God is doing it already , you are in this group. DO NOT THINK ABOUT YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES , THINK ABOUT GOD AND ALL THE BLESSINGS YOU HAVE AND ALL THE ANSWERED PRAYERS YOU HAVE . THANK HIM , LOVE HIM.
