Christians' throats slit in pagan slaughterhouse

March 19, 2014

WND.com reports: “After exposing videos of ‘ritual human sacrifices’ of Christians by Muslims, a former Palestinian Liberation Organization member-turned-Christian has discovered a new set of shocking videos that show human slaughterhouses in which non-Muslims are executed.

The videos, posted by Walid Shoebat, and his son, Theodore Shoebat, are horrific, showing heads neatly lined up against a wall and bodies suspended by their feet in a room.

Also shown is the testimony of a witness who was threatened with being ‘sacrificed.’

‘I have never seen something like this,’ Shoebat told WND. ‘I have been investigating this story for the past two weeks. The story is probably the most horrific I have ever [done]. It proves with footage actual systematic [sl]aughterhouses of human beings, including Christians in Syria.’…”

Gov't helpless to stop massive Christian cleansing

March 19, 2014

WND.com reports: “A wave of weekend violence by the Nigerian jihadist organization Boko Haram that killed more than 115 Christians in northeastern Borno state underscores the helplessness of a government that now is attempting a ‘soft approach’ to stopping the carnage.

In February alone, Boko Haram killed more than 400 people in its ongoing effort to subdue Christians and establish Islamic law, or Shariah, throughout the northern African nation, noted Todd Daniels, an analyst for International Christian Concern, a Washington, D.C.-based group that assists persecuted Christians worldwide.

The Muslim attacks have forced more than 300,000 people to leave their homes in northeastern Nigeria since 2010, according to a United Nations estimate. Most are internally displaced and some have fled to Chad, Cameroon and Niger.

Daniels told WND the Nigerian government is paralyzed, noting a report that President Goodluck Jonathan is going to try a soft approach and sit down and talk.

‘Now doesn’t seem like the time for that,’ Daniels observed.

‘They tried the military approach, and that was ineffective, but it’s not likely that talking will bring any results.’…”

Netanyahu: Syrian border is our new challenge

March 19, 2014

The Jerusalem Post reports: “Hezbollah and global Jihadist operatives have recently poured into the Israeli-Syrian border on the Golan Heights, presenting Israel with new challenges, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said Tuesday shortly after a bomb was detonated wounding three soldiers on that border.

‘Over the last few years we have succeeded in maintaining the quiet amid the civil war in Syria,’ he said, adding that Israel would act aggressively to ensure Israel’s security.

Netanyahu’s comments at a Likud faction meeting came a few hours after he spoke at the Negev Conference in Sderot about how the last year, in the wake of Operation Pillar of Defense in November 2012, was the quietest year in a decade in the south in terms of rocket attacks from Gaza.

‘There will be no trickle of rockets. My policy is clear: Any firing of rockets will be met with an immediate and sharp response,’ Netanyahu said…”

Jordan's PM Rejects Cutting Ties with Israel

March 19, 2014

Israel National News reports: “Jordan’s Prime Minister on Tuesday rejected the possibility that his country would cut ties with Israel and expel the Israeli ambassador from Amman, despite demands to do so in the wake of the killing of a Jordanian judge by Israeli soldiers.

AFP reported that Prime Minister Abdullah Nsur made the comments during a discussion on a no-confidence motion, which he had managed to escape despite the fact that the motion was motivated by his government's allegedly weak response to the incident.

Nsur told the MPs the government ‘does not see that expelling the Israeli envoy and calling the Jordanian ambassador serve the path of our martyr’s case,’ state-run Petra news agency reported.

‘If we go ahead with such moves, Jordan will face repercussions that would go beyond our sorrows... It will also affect Jordan's abilities concerning the Israeli-Palestinian peace talks,’ he added…”

Netanyahu orders IDF to prepare for possible strike on Iran during 2014

March 19, 2014

Haaretz reports: “Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon have ordered the army to continue preparing for a possible military strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities at a cost of at least 10 billion shekels ($2.89 billion) this year, despite the talks between Iran and the West, according to recent statements by senior military officers.

Three Knesset members who were present at Knesset joint committee hearings on Israel Defense Forces plans that were held in January and February say the army’s deputy chief of staff, Maj. Gen. Gadi Eizenkot, and planning directorate official Brig. Gen. Agai Yehezkel told MKs that 10 billion shekels to 12 billion shekels of the IDF budget would be allocated this year for preparations for a strike on Iran, approximately the same amount that was allocated in 2013.

Some MKs asked Yehezkel and Eizenkot whether they felt there was justification for investing so much money in those preparations, said the MKs present at the meetings, who asked that their names be withheld because of the sensitivity of the issue. They said some lawmakers also asked whether the interim agreement reached between Iran and the six powers in November 2013, and the ongoing negotiations for a full nuclear accord, had caused any change in the IDF’s preparations.

The IDF representatives said the army had received a clear directive from government officials – meaning Netanyahu and Ya’alon – to continue readying for a possible independent strike by Israel on the Iranian nuclear sites, regardless of the talks now happening between Iran and the West, the three MKs said…”

Israel attacks Syrian army sites after Golan bombing

March 19, 2014

BBC News reports: “Israel says it has attacked several Syrian military sites in retaliation for a bombing that wounded four of its troops in the occupied Golan Heights.

Among the targets were a headquarters, a training facility and artillery batteries, the Israeli military said.

The Syrian army had ‘aided and abetted’ the attack on a patrol near the ceasefire line on Tuesday, it added.

There has been no comment yet on the air strikes from Syria and it is not clear if there were any casualties.

The Israeli air force has conducted several aerial attacks on Syria since the uprising began three years ago.

Those air strikes are believed to have prevented the transfer of stockpiles of rockets from the Syrian government to Hezbollah, the Lebanese Shia Islamist movement that supports President Bashar al-Assad…”
