I think myself happy. The Joy of the Lord is my stregth. When I think about the goodness of Jesus and all he's done for me ......I was just thinking about an incident that occured not to many day's ago that could have been totally different .But all things work for my good....I just have to say "to God be the Glory."..Thank you Lord for you tender Mercies.......and your loving Kindness toward me

I thought this is hillarious but if you think it is not appropriate, please delete it.

An old priest lay dying in the hospital. For
years he had faithfully served the people of the nation's capital and
was well known among the elected officials. He motioned for his nurse to
come near.
>
> "Yes, Father?" said the nurse.
>
> "I would really like to see President Obama and Speaker Pelosi before
I die", whispered the priest.
>
> "I'll see what I can do, Father", replied the nurse.
>
> The nurse sent the request to The President and Congress and waited
for a response. Soon the word arrived; President Obama and Nancy Pelosi
would be delighted to visit the priest.
>
> As they went to the hospital, Obama commented to Pelosi, "I don't
know why the old priest wants to see us, but it will certainly help our
images and might even get me re-elected."
>
> Pelosi agreed that it was a good thing.
>
> When they arrived at the priest's room, the priest took Obama's hand
in his right hand and Pelosi's hand in his left hand. There was silence
and a look of serenity on the old priest's face.
>
> Finally President Obama spoke.. "Father, of all the people you could
have chosen, why did you choose us to be with you as you near the end?"
>
> The old priest slowly replied, "I have always tried to pattern my
life after our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ."
>
> "Amen", said Obama.
>
> "Amen", said Pelosi.
>
> The old priest continued, "Jesus died between two lying thieves; I
would like to do the same

Brothers & Sisters in Christ, ministers, pastors: I am a new minister and need advice. If you have thoughts on what I am about to share, I sure would appreciate it. Here are the main points: A man who is separated from his daughter and son subsequent to divorce, kids ages 15 & 16. The mother moved to another state with their children. They have joint physical custody. His children miss him desperately and the mother has become somewhat unstable, perhaps due to the stress of being the only parent present. The man is torn as he has been called by God, but he desperately wants to be with his children. He senses that if he relocates to their state the ex-wife would sabotage anything he tries to do and he does not know anyone except his kids in their state. What advice would you give to him? His heart & his kids hearts are breaking. The children want to move with the dad, but do not want a big custody battle that would further damage the family. Please pray for the entire family! Adivce and appropriate scripture on how to counsel this man would be greatly appreciated. Is it possible for him to relocate and do the work God has called him to do? Thank you and God Bless all of you.
