All About GOD

All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

Wisdom is everywhere.

A young child's question,

a older person's decision,then vice versa.

No matter the prensation, all Wisdom comes from the same place.

Pride will have it's day, if and when you think, you or only what

you deem acceptable, a vessel to distrubute Wisdom.

What do you think?

Hello Chris and Arnie,

I am not sure I understand your question, but I love the topic, so could you rephrase your question for me, please. What do I think about what?

Thank you David, I guess I hadn't finished my thought.

Some may argue that, the Wisdon I speak of here, is worldly, and not Godly.  Yet, in this statement I do not distinguish between the two.  I agree there is a difference.

Part of the question is, can Wisdom (Godly/wordly) be gathered in such a fashion.

I also meant to say that Wisdom, does not grow, it's not added to, just that the more we understand Wisdom

the more is revealed to us.  As the Word of God is living, Wisdom is as well, and it's depth are revealed.

So the rest of the question, do you agree w/ this idea.

Chris & Arnie,

I tried to find what I wanted in the Bible to give you reference but, of course, I couldn't. I know that somewhere it states that Wisdom was with God from the beginning. I think Wisdom is part of the seven fold Spirit. I think, as we receive the Holy Spirit, we have access to Wisdom as well. I am not sure that we use it, however, and wonder if we don't rely on its counterpart....earthly wisdom, instead. I think that we need to ask Holy Spirit to reveal His wisdom as we seek answers. Many times we are in too much of a hurry to do that and our earthly wisdom prevails.

If I locate what I am looking for, I will let you know.

Blessings,

Rita

Rita,

I think you may be referring to Proverbs 8.

Lord Bless,

LT

When king solomon God given wisdom is shown to the two disputing mother. we can ask ourselves what is the bases of Godly wisdom? Experiences? Gods word? or a gift? What harm or good can our experiences do to Godly wisdom? Does interpretations and intelligence has somehow self seeking benefits? Wisdom is really i think is a gift, not out of experiences and intelligence.
