Why Martyr's

We allow the enemy to convince us we are doing something wrong when, things are not going all that great. We are Praying for things that we need, and want at times. And, nothing is wrong with those things we are told to ask and Pray. so I have a question for you. Why, Martyr’s ? What, purpose do they serve ? The way they lived their life, was victory ever a part of ? Because, of how they suffered, what sin’s must they of committed ? We so often hear about the victorious life, of all that we can have in Jesus. Well, does dying in such a way, show any of this. Having your family see you, or your whole family get dragged out of your home. To have all your things taken away, then to suffer years in prison, from unspeakable acts, only to die. And, their crime was giving their life over to Jesus. Tell me, is this victory ?

Only a believer in the Trinity, that dies for the Triune God, (Father,Son,Holy Spirit) can be a martyr in the meaning of the word in it's first definition....as I see it. They are dying because of their love of the one true God.

I do not classify Muslim suicide bombers as martyrs because they are better classified as mass murders. Serial killers. These people are dying because of hatred. Hatred of anyone who disagrees with what they believe in, but also their way of life, where half of their population is scorned at birth. After they arrive at their final destination, I doubt any of them will remember the reward they are promised...instead they will be remembering how stupid they were to believe another person and throw away their destiny.

Regarding your questions....God gives each of us the strength to endure pain of the type you are describing, to do through this suffering, and any other kind for that matter. Yes, I call it victory. That person will hear *Well done, good and faithful servant...*
