All About GOD

All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

God wants to use every one of us as communicators of the good news of his love in Jesus Christ. This means, of course, that we have a story to tell. But people will not be open to hear this story unless we have a genuine relationship with them. Like Paul, we are called to find common ground with people, to share life with them so that we might share the Gospel with them.

1 Corinthians 9:20-22 (New International Version)
20T o the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law. 21 To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God's law but am under Christ's law), so as to win those not having the law. 22 To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some.

Amen bro - yet in a plane ride or on a public place where you do not have the time to find common ground, we must be ready to share the gospel in season and out of season.

You asked:

>>What are the Common Grounds?

As members of the human race we all laugh, cry and have trouble, so we must find out what interest them or what is concerning them and testify to God's amazing love in helping us over come.
Yea bro. David, You got it right . The common grounds is the usual ground,If we put Jesus on top of any ground it'll be fine. At the train one Sunday morning, I'm wearing a smile on my way home and the person next to me smile back to me so is the other next to him. I took the opportunity to share Jesus the reason why I'm happy. and it was awesome. The common ground? At the train. The common key to open up? a smile. God bless you more and more David
