All About GOD

All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

I was wondering if an unwed mother could be forgiven if she married the babies father after the baby is born or does the baby have to live in sin for being born into an unwed family? I'm asking because I'm worried that my baby will live in sin for what me and her father did? I got pregnant with her and then had her 2 months before I turned 18 so I wasn't the legal age for marriage when I had her. Me and her father plan on getting married soon though.

"...every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men." - Jesus

(Matthew 12:31)

Brittani, the best way to ensure that your child does not grow up defiant and rebellious toward God (in sin) is to commit your own lives to Christ, become his disciples and then raise your child to also be a disciple.

Brittani, acknowledge that you have sinned and confess your sin to the Lord. Also, believe that the sin that you have committed, Jesus has already paid the price for that. He was being beaten up and mocked when you were sinning.

Let Jesus's blood cover you, accept Him with all your heart. God will forgive you. Turn away from your sinful desires from now on, lead a life that pleases God. Make Him your first priority in life and seek His will in all the decisions of your life. Raise your daughter with Christian values, teach her that we are not please ourselves but the One who created us. The Lord is your shield, read the Bible, grow in Him eveeryday. I hope the baby's father is a christian too. Ask God to change your hearts and give you both peace. God bless you sis...
