All About GOD

All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

Jesus was and still IS the greatest teacher.  He is the Blessed Messiah, the King of kings, the Lord of lords.  Jesus is pure and holy, without spot or blemish.  Jesus willingly went to the cross to bear our sins where He died as a sacrifice for us....the sinners.  We are NOT without spot or blemish.  God GAVE His Only Son that may have eternal life.  Jesus was pure of all unrighteousness yet God sent Him to die on the cross for us.   If God can send His Only Son who was pure and holy, without spot or blemish and allow Him to die in such a horrible manner that we might repent and be saved and have eternal life, what makes us think in our sinfulness that we are more worthy than Jesus Christ.  Jesus was very clear about repenting of our sins as the scriptures below signify.  We are not believe in or follow man...we are only to believe in Jesus Christ who is our teacher.

Matthew 4:17

From that time Jesus began to preach , and to say , Repent : for the kingdom of heaven is at hand .

And saying , The time is fulfilled , and the kingdom of God is at hand : repent ye , and believe the gospel.

Sister Michelle,

Excellent presentation and supportive scripture concerning God`s perfect plan of redemption.

It seems to me also, that everything hinges on repentance being in place.

And that is the role of the Holy Spirit as John 16:8, and following verses tell us,(8) " He, when He comes, will convict (or convince) the world concerning sin, and righteousness, and judgment;"

I believe a person is not truly saved until they earnestly repent. And then everything falls into place following that.

And Jesus the teacher............... one word - WOW!

Grace and Peace.
