Two questions need to be asked when looking for an answer to this question.

1) What was the reason for the divorce? In other words is the divorce based on biblical grounds?

2) Was the divorce prior to salvation?

If the answer is yes to either of the questions then the person is free to remarry.

she cheated on her husband, they are getting a devorce

According to Scripture if a person commits adultery they are an adulterer. The guilty party needs to repent of their sin and seek reconciliation with their spouse. There is no Scriptural basis for the guilty party to remarry, except that of being born again after the offense.

shes born again now, she wasn't born again when she offended

Her goal as a married woman should first be to attempt to restore her marriage. If that is not possible and he, not she, divorces her anyway then she is free to remarry. At the same time, because she is a married woman she should not be having any relations with another and that includes dating. As long as she is married she needs to respect the marriage vows.

My heart goes out to you and your family. You have had to endure an unthinkable pain. Thanks for sharing as I trust your openness will be of help to others.
