Easy English Bible

Judges 5:4-5

4 Lord, you went out from Seir, you marched from the land of Edom. Then the earth shook. You sent rain from the sky. The clouds rained water. 5 The mountains (even Sinai) shook in front of the Lord, the God of Israel.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

4 In this area drought was common when rain came it was seen as a blessing from the Lord so by it raining it was God blessing them. The ground shook to show them that this was the Lord’s reaction to them.

5 The presence of the Lord was felt there is nothing greater than the Lord being present today as Christians we have the Spirit but the times the Spirit moves our heart is great. When the Lord shows us His presence it is the greatest.
