All About GOD

All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

I am a new born in Christ.. I know that the greatest commandment is Mat. 22:37

"37Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'" - biblegateway.com

but my dear friends, is it okay to fantasize? I mean imagining about good things or bad things to happen, and the crazy stuff a teenager could think? I really need your opinions :)

Sure thing friend , it’s ok to fantasize -

Fantasize - Definition: : to indulge in reverie : create or develop imaginative and often fantastic views or ideas

imagine: to indulge in fantasies of the imagination, or imagine something as fantasy

As long as we do not fantasize about sinful things or not include our Lord, is all good.
We are to think about these things:
Php 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

It's perfectly ok and normal to fantasize about life, but always keep in mind that all we think about and fantasize about should always include the most important part of our lives, God. As Christians no part of our lives should exclude the Lord. You said - we are to love Him with our entire mind – Yes! Amen.

James 4
13 Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will[g] go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit”; 14 whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away. 15 Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that.” 16 But now you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil.

I personally have an extremely y active head and fantasize all sorts of things, but I submit my thought life to the Holy Spirit.

Chao – Fellow thinker :)
hi thanks for all replies :)

but I'm a little bit confused, to tell you I write short stories, you say that it's not good to exclude God..because we have to include Him in everything..if the story for example is about love and revenge...what can you say about that?
thank you sis Linda :)
Amen.
so right now I should be selective in making the plot of my story.

Blessings
Say-

Ok- in that case sis you should not write stories such as the ones people without the Lord would write, but stories in which though God is not mentioned directly, folks reading it will get a positive message from it.

You can make a story about love and revenge, in which love triumphs! Yay!!!

Stories with morals and values. You know.
