Ghosts.....are they real
Not to sound crazy but since I was little I have been able to feel/sense when someone was there that shouldn't be. My whole family has. When I walk in to a house I can sense if there is someone or something there and whether it is good or bad. Recently my husband and I became caretakers at our church and are being followed around when we are there. My husband feels it, I feel it and my son can feel it. My husband always thought I was crazy until after his car accident last year, his father came to our house and stayed there for 8 months. I think he was watching over Cory.
I have been told be other Christians that there is no such thing, there cant be. Then what is it?

im new here and read what you said about u think theres a presence, they do exist rachelle im speaking from experience.
the ones i had experience with are evil, i am a roman catholic and ive had to have a priest in my house twice, i sleep downstairs because i know whats upstairs and i havnt yet made friends with it lol

Oh thank goodness, I am not the only one. I have only had two encounters with an "evil" presence and left the homes right away. The one was in my grandmothers house, there was an old lady that was there and she was not nice. The other was my sister in laws house. It was pure evil, only bad things happened to my sister in law and her family while they lived there. There was just such a negative vibe when you entered the house and dont ever go into the basement, thats where it was and you could feel it on you if your went there. Just awful. For the most part, my encounters have been more of just an awareness that someone is there watching you. Freaks you out but I know that they wont hurt me.

oh my goodness, ye oh boy havnt i had the most horrible experience, just feeling something evil. cn i add you as a friend and we have a good chat about it later tonight i got to pick my boy up from cadets, 1 question do you believe people can be possessed as i think thats where my troubles started 12 or 13 years ago, chat to you later i do hope. ill be on at bout 11

it was my father in law, he had passed three years prior. My husband said he would stand at the end of our hall and just watch him. I know that he was there to watch over Cory and protect him.

spirits are either good or evil, if they are good they wont scare you and have been sent by God to send a message in which case you will know its from God
otherwise its an evil spirit which can imitate anything they like except a lamb because of the lamb of God

I totally get that, my husband, before his accident, was living a life of complete sin. He was drinking and partying and having an affair with Satan in a red dress. It was a disgusting, vile life he was leading. His accident changed him. Like I had mentioned to someone on here before, Cory's accident was the ultimate battle of God vs. Satan. Satan drove my husband into a train in an attempt to take his life and God pulled him back. Satan then again tried and threw Cory in to the train and again God pulled him back. While in the hospital, I prayed and prayed to God to give me my husband back to pull him out of Satan's grasp and let him come back to me. After a very lengthy prayer session I walked in to my husband's hospital room and the women he was having the affair with was there. He asked me for a divorce. She felt the need to celebrate and snuck Cory out of the hospital to a bar and fed him beer. He was on very high doses of morphine and suffering from extreme trauma (he lost his left left). I should also mention that she is a registered nurse and should have known better. Twelve hours later my husband went unresponsive, his heart stopped, his respirations stopped, he was dying. God brought him back. The first thing my husband saw when he woke was me. He knew then. The battle over my husbands soul has been greatly fought and I am so proud to say that God has won his heart. His father, I believe was sent to watch over Cory and make sure that he kept his promise. It was a reminder every day that his dad was watching him and to not do anything foolish. So I do believe it was for the good and not for evil. On the day that Cory gave his life to Jesus, his father left.

Usually when I say anything to anyone on this subject they make it sound like I am crazy but I know I am not. I am so glad to hear that other people, other Christians go through this too. Some would say its a gift, I dont feel that way. I know that for the most part, the ones that I have encountered havent meant any harm but there is the occasional one that you can feel the evil as soon as you step inside the home. I hate the feeling. I do feel bad for those who live in those homes and cant sense the evil as it takes over them.
My whole life, since I was two, I knew when someone was there. It started in my parents house, we were visited by an old lady who was looking for her son that had lived there previously.
My grandmothers house, that one was not nice. I dont think she meant harm but she was not nice. She would scream at you and it was such a horrific scream that just terrified you.
My mom told me of a house she lived in for a day. She felt the evil as soon as she walked through the front door. My grandfather went downstairs to put stuff in the basement and felt hands go around his neck. They left instantly. When the house was torn down eventually it was found to have human remains under the basement floor.
When we moved to Edmonton we stayed with my husbands sister for one month. Its all I could take. The evil in that house was soooooo great. Only bad came from that house. My sister in law had an affair, her husband had an affair, there oldest son was charged with sexually assalting the neighbors daughter, the drinking and partying that went on. It was no good.
In our home, we had an old lady that loved my kids. She freaked me out cause she would follow me up the stairs at night, each night. I would have to have Cory come up behind me so I couldnt feel her. She would walk the hall and check on our boys. They couldnt sleep in the one room because she would go in there and watch them but for what ever reason she wouldnt enter their other room so thats where they slept. We would hear breaking dishes in the night but of course when we investigated, nothing was broken.
The house we are in now was clear until my father in law came. But like I said, he is there to protect my husband so its okay.
Friends of ours just recently mentioned that they think they have a visitor. I said "Yeah, in your bottom floor" The looked at me like, why didnt I tell them before.
Yes Veronika, it the Lord wants you to share something with me, of course, I would gladly listen to anything the Lord would like to share with me.

my mums house when she was younger, living in clairmont road, liverpool had an evil spirit in the house. but it wasnt haunting them it was just lingering around the house

hi veronica. i have had the same experiences. ive seen a shadow, heard something switch the tap on in the bathroom, thing go walkies, my rosary beads i put under the floorboards were thrown back up in pieces. the burning smells, the sulfur smells of putridness. and the smell is confined to one small area. i see people, not often at all, its only ever happened something like 5 times in the last 3 years, but i see people and they have this something about them, its a visual feeling. it comes from their eyes or from their hearts and it really is scary i cnt explain it and all i can do is stand and stare not being able to move or turn and dash away, has anyone else experienced this

i suppose in time i could learn how to use what i see to an advantage, by dedicated prayers for them every night or something along those lines maybe
