With all of the calamities, signs of wars, anti-Christ and others. Is really the end of days is fast approaching?
There are who predicted that it is day of our Lord jesus Christ return but its a shame on them, it never happened. what is the basis of their mis-leading calculations, inspite the Bible declares it not for us to know the time and hour. with Bible facts and with help of all advanced technology what is the possibilty of right calculations? is this signs really the signs declares in the scriptures?

2 Timothy 3:1-5
But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God – having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sounds kind of familiar considering it was written about two thousand years ago....

Practically every generation has believed these verses were the case in their genreation and that they were probably the last before the coming of Christ. It is interesting when you read authors from the 1800s you find the problems they faced, at the core, are the same basic problems we face today.

I agree with you that every generation has believed that they were in the end times. But I would also ask you to please consider that there has never been a time when 'all' the things that Timothy speaks of have been as prevalent as we see in people today. Our society has run rampant with every single item on Timothy’s checklist. In fact, many (not all) people who aren’t saved actually strive to be these things. Many people act out all these behaviors and then dare someone to say something about it. Children threaten their parents with child services if corrected. When you turn on the news today, people are titillated by what their Hollywood idols are up to. Young girls want to emulate Brittany Spears and Paris Hilton. Grade school boys brag that they want to be pimps and gangsters when they grow up. Yes, I agree that people like this did exist in times past but society never before glorified these behaviors like they do today. ------ But this is only my opinion on the matter. -----As for when Jesus will return? We know that no mortal knows the day and the hour. But truthfully,...... I’m looking into the sky my brother.

There will be a day that will be the very last day before His return. We just don't know when that will be. When I was young, I didn't think there was a chance that I would reach the age I am. Yet, here I am. I remember approaching the 21st century. I thought maybe that would be when He came. But He didn't. He knows what year and what day it is. He will come at the appointed time. One day He will be reigning on this earth. Today He reigns in our hearts. The signs tell us this could be a generation that sees His coming but there is still work to do. We are to be faithful until He comes. We are not to be like the foolish virgins that were not quite completely prepared for a long wait. I think He was giving us a little hint in that parable.

Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations and then the end will come.
There is still a lot of area of the world which still not reached by the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I think this signs we are seeing today are the results of how we been a bad steward of Gods creation.
How careless and selfish we been.
1. That generation has not yet passed?
2. Preached the Gospel to the whole world?
LETS KEEP WATCH ...FOR THE DAY AND HOUR WE DO NOT KNOW... ARE WE READY FOR THE END OF DAYS? KEEP THAT LAMP BURNING FOR THE BRIDEGROOM IS NEAR...

The Jewish nation is alive and well (or nearly so) so I think *this generation* has not yet passed.

Based on the Resurrection of Christ, *early on the third day*, I believe Christ will return for His church *early on the third day*.
We have start the third millennium since Christ was resurrected, (one thousand years being a day). Therefore, I believe that we aren't far from the time of His return.

Good Point, Rita. I don't know if I agree but I am ready for Him to come. I will set aside everyone of my plans for Him to come - not that my plans matter all that much anyway. My grandkids want Him to wait until they get married,however. I remember thinking the same thing. Next, they will want Him to wait for them to have children. I just want Him to come. I am tired of the things that are going on in our world.

I think that the generation there is not the Jewish people as overall but the the life span of that people during that generation.
Our generation is dependent on life span. if we died that generation is ended a new generation begins.
Please correct me if i'm wrong here. coz if its the jewish people is that generation i think it will not end unless God make an end to all jewish people. I'm not trying to predict another miscalculation here just a clarification my brethren. tnx
