All About GOD

All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

So often we think we have no faith, or it is weak.  Are we using faith because. we believe we will hurt after something happens.  Or when we lack money we will not be able to pay our bills.  Don't get me wrong. I would never dismiss anothers pain.  Just a thought about the power of faith.  Do not take any judgement from me on this.  I deal w/ both constant pain and lack of funds.  However, in the mind that is being renewed maybe this is something we should consider.  What do you think ?

Have written testimonial blogs on what faith can do. I never dismiss anyones pain as contrary to some things I have read I DO feel others pain and my heart literally aches when others are hurting. I have been viewed as insensitive by some in the past but nothing could be further from the truth. I guess I could come off that way but I KNOW what faith can do. Maybe it is time I rewrote that testimonial only a more updated version. Faith CAN move mountains!
And I as well suffer pain in the form of lonliness sometimes and. Lack of funds is my middle name but I know and believe in my heart that God always provides albeit a lot of times in the eleventh hour! :)

This was just something I have pondered at times.  We always have a choice in how we see things.   From the things I have read that you have posted, I can nat see how you could be viewed as insensitive.  You have such a desire to pary and stand for others.  I this short time I have seen your

heart towards others.  And it is large in the manner you care for others.

We all need to support each other when we are going through faith stretching times. So many have been there for me when the going gets tough for me. It is one reason god gave us fellowship with each other. As long as we do not forget to go to Him first! Amen? :)
Haha! Was just thinking about what you said. Have you ever been down and a happy cheerleader comes along to give you a lift but you just don't feel like it and you want to kick the cheery cheerleader in the seat of her pants? I guess sometimes I can misjudge what the situation calls for and have to be careful that way!
My faith did not get this way through ease of life. It is constantly being stretched every day. It cannot grow otherwise.

Nancy

I so agree w/ all you said.

We grow as we yield, to Him and each other.

Try my best not to "kick the seat of the pants" LOL

that's great. I so hate pain in the seat of my pants. Ouch, ouch, ouch!! :D
isn't God amazingly wonderful!!
We learn so much when we trust God.  I've learned much when I don't fight against Him.

Reading your thread Chris, but no time to reply today. Just wanted to say has anyone ever told you your pic looks like Jesus? The guy who witnessed to me when I got saved looked like Jesus too. I will never forget him. I like anyone who looks like Jesus lol!

And Nancy, have been meaning to tell you that I love your pic for Grace by the Lake. I am the real creative type and your pic is gorgeous.

You know how some weeks are quiet and pretty uneventful and we wish something exciting would happen? And then other weeks are like an onslaught from the enemy. Well I had an onslaught week like you wouldn't believe, ( had to pray in tongues a lot Nancy), but I am still standing in faith and singing His praises!!!!!!!!!!

PRAISe HIM PRAISE HIM PRAISE HIM! YESSS!

Incidently, my name is Nancy and second name is LYNN. It means grace by the Lake. Can hardly wait to tell you the amazing "God story" about the significance of that. :D
