All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

I gave my life to Jesus a couple of months ago, then I started to read d Bible and realised that I had to find the church that followed all the Commandments. I am still on d search and I also want to get married. My partner will never get married if it's not in d catholic church, I'm not sure I'm a catholic but I don't want to live in sin. If I get married in a church I don't fully agree with, would I be sinning?

Hola Davidin,

Estoy en España ahora, en la casa de mi mama. I'm very looking forward visiting some churches I've already located. I'll keep you updated!

Espero que estes muy bien, que Dios te bendiga
Keep praying for a church.
I was taught to find a 'Bible Believing' church, so I'm happy for me,to find that.
Baptist, Assemblies of God, and other churches take God's word, the bible as the Truth.

Be praying for you,

John
Virginia, welcome to the family of God!! You have put your faith in Jesus and begun to drink of the pure water of life in His Word. Praise God! Hallelujah!

Let me encourage you to do that for the rest of your life.

You are seeking answers to some big questions and you are seeking counsel among believers. That is good and will be helpful. I want to encourage you that you will discover that answers will come and Jesus Himself will answer them by the abiding work of the Holy Spirit.

I once had the same questions about "what church" to attend. Twenty four years later, I have some opinions on "church". God has led me to study the theologies of most of them, but much more to discover what He is doing.

Keep in mind that there are two truths:
1. Faith
2. Practice

There are many who read the Bible, yet do not walk in it as a practice.
There are many, even unbelievers, who will do good things and have good life skills, but do not believe the Gospel. The Lord God wants us to do both.

Jesus calls us to live the word. Practicing the Truth is what makes us His followers. Here are some thoughts on how a single woman seeking God can find the right "church":

Seek a body of Christians who are Living the Word. (no one will do that perfectly, but there is a big difference between those do really trust in God and those who don't) Find sisters who's lives are examples of faith and holiness - women who put God first in every aspect of their life. Respect the brothers who treat you like a sister, a person who's name is in the book of life. Politely ignore the ones who are focused on the world's values, what the world says, what the world wants.

If your fiancee wants to truly follow Christ, he will respect your need to find a place where God's Spirit leads you.

Remember: Jesus wants to lead you to find this just as much as you do. So - keep praying and trusting Him.
Praise the lord you decide to follow christ. this walk is only as hard as we allow to be and will get rough. There is no perfect church no perfect people no matter how long they have been in church there is alway room for improvement we must continue to grow an learn and most of all love and forgive. The Ten commandments are sharp as a to edge sword because the word of God says: For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he guilty of all. James 2:10. The power of prayer will change things pray on him and for him for a change of mind about getting married at a catholic church and what church you should attend.
